Clear and covered important concepts. Decent content. Where it lost me is when she suggested snapping a rubber band on your wrist to deal with unwanted behaviours - terrible, outdated advice. Also fairly monotonous narration.

Too science focused
The Stress-Proof Brain was an interesting book that provided a great deal of detail when outlining the science behind stress in the brain and its origins. However, I felt that at times this background was excessive and the book didn't provide enough practical steps beyond mindful meditation to cope with the stress the book so eloquently outlines. This could be seen through the first two parts of the book where it spends a fair amount of time teaching the audience how to characterise the stress they're facing but not providing enough practical steps to deal with it.
