In her exciting new book, mythologist and psychologist Sharon Blackie explores these archetypes, presenting them in a way sure to appeal to contemporary women. Drawing inspiration from these examples, women can reclaim midlife as a liberating, alchemical moment rich with possibility and their elder years as a path to dynamic power.

Powerful and essential information
I am so grateful to Louise Newson and her family, friends and colleagues for this book.
As a 51 yr old woman who grew up with a feminist mother I am deeply shocked at how little I knew about Menopause and the wide ranging effects on all aspects of our lives. Am I the only woman that had no idea?!
I am so grateful also to my nurse practitioner who recently suggested menopause as something to consider which led me to finding this book.
For the first time in a decade I feel empowered and hopeful about my future.
I have recommended this book which I devoured over a few days to many other women and will continue to do so.
I have also started using the Balance app which is a fabulous way of easily tracking just where I'm at.
Many, many grateful thanks for all that you do Louise, you ARE reaching women that need this information!
