Fascinating and useful. Only two criticisms. Please help me understand why the narrator insists on saying ‘et’ when reading the word ‘ate’. I understand this is a colloquial term in parts of England, but surely when reading you would say the word in front of you? Very irritating to listen to, particularly given the word is so common in the book!! The author is also a bit self-congratulatory whenever mentioned the work of his research team at Zoe - it is unnecessary. Otherwise the content is very useful.

Love Tim Spector and this latest book proves his invaluable knowledge and insights into the foods we eat. A must read (and have on the shelf too!) if you are serious about food being medicine for your good health and longevity.

A veritable tome of a book

Not what I was expecting but an interesting read nevertheless. If you're looking to lose weight then this is not your book. Instead it's a general look at the variety of whole foods that we have at our disposal. This book provides the information needed to make healthy choices according to our own individual needs.
