Publisher's Summary

Life on his ranch could be their future. If they can overcome their past.

Felicity's life story reads like the script to a bad soap opera. Girl's high-school boyfriend becomes a drug addict. Girl falls for boyfriend's best friend. Girl leaves them both behind only to return home years later for murdered ex-boyfriend's funeral. Now she's back home in Montana, ready to start fresh. She's got a long list of amends to make and relationships to rebuild, including one with the man who has owned her heart for 16 years.

Silas doesn't need much. He's got a great horse, close friends and the Lucky Heart ranch, but something has always been missing. He's not an idiot. He knows the missing piece is Felicity. And now that she's returned to Prescott, he's got a second chance to win her heart. This time, the only thing standing in his way is history. Drudging up the past is going to be about as painful as playing tug of war with barbed wire. But if they can heal old wounds, he'll get the girl he should have had all along.

Such a fantastic series

I am so in love with this community and I wish I could move in. I’ve been looking forward to Felicity and Silas. Felicity is the mean girl that skipped town leaving destruction in her wake. And Silas in the quiet man that never has let anyone know his feelings for this mean girl that he got to know before she left.

The mean girl returns and Silas is given a second chance. Of course there is a ton of drama and the secondary characters are building tons of drama so that there can be book after book in this series and I will read every single one.

Full of love and heart and HEAT. This series is meant for all.

Ava Erickson kills it. She has made for the perfect choice to continue throughout this series. It makes no difference that she switches from character to character. She is brilliant and totally pulls it off. I wish they had done that with the male character and kept Joe Arden throughout but it’s ok. The male narration is actually very small. Ava does a good 85%. And Jeffrey was good too.

The Lucky Heart Stars

This was a hard book for me to finish, I really enjoyed the first two books in this series and was so looking forward to this book.

Felicity was an ok character for me, what hung me up was the “woe is me” about Wes. And I get it she was felt guilt but it was bordering on obsessive if I am being honest.

Buttttt there was light about 4 hours in when she stopped going on about it. Thank you!
It wasn’t even like it was drama it was just that she would push Silas away and blame herself, over and over and over again to the point I had to put this audio down and then come back to it almost 3 weeks later.

I am glad I picked it back up because then it starts to really come together with the connection between Silas and Felicity and I like how she stands up to his father. I do wish Silas has said something a lot sooner to his father. Because a lot of that could have been prevented and not really having Felicity’s back especially after the “ride” when Silas was sick…

The caring part of both these characters prevailed and I thoroughly enjoyed the rest of this audio and I can’t wait to listen to more books in this series.

I am not a fan of Jeffrey Kafer, his voice is ok but he sounds so announcer-ish, I just couldn’t get into his parts. Thank gosh for Ava Erickson she saves the day. I loved her parts so much I would have even enjoyed her man voice for Silas.

*You don't have to like my review but its 100% my opinion, and I am allowed to have it.*

All the feels🥰

Felicity & Silas’s story will have you in all your feels. These two were always meant to be. The road Felicity traveled, the pain & regret she carried, and the longing for making things right will have your heart aching. My heart broke for this poor girl. Silas was exactly what she needed and when these two finally get on the same page it is dynamic!

OMG

The male narrator ruined the book. He sounds like Dick Tracy. Terrible is putting it mildly

Swoon worthy second Chance

Felicity and Silas story is a second chance that is swoon worthy. This book was great from start to finish. Felicity comes back to her home town after a many year absence and has to mend a lot of broken relationship. Felicity can come off a little off putting during some of this book but I feel it helps develop her character. She is trying to become more than her past that kept her from her home town. Loved this book and also this audiobook.

Wonderful second chance romance

This is a beautiful story about redemption and second chances. Felicity ran away from the town she grew up in and her past.
She came back to town for a funeral for the boy she was running from and ran into Silas, her one regret. I loved their story. It’s gritty and real. It’s grown up.
The narration was excellent

Wow! I absolutely LOVED this audio!

Audiobook: Narrators – Ava Erickson and Jeffrey Kafer

These narrators did an exceptional job of bringing these characters to life! Ms. Erickson shined as Felicity. I never struggled to discern between her voice and that of secondary characters. Sometimes I cringe when a female narrator does a male voice, but not so when she performed as Silas. It was seamless, smooth and believable. And Mr. Kafer is always an enjoyable narrator with a deep voice that was perfect for Silas when in his point of view.

Wow! I loved this book! Each book of this series has just gotten better, the characters richer, the romance sweeter.
I was initially uncertain about Felicity. She was somewhat of a bully in high school, a rebel and was definitely not what one would consider the sweet girl next door. She’s got a lot of history in Prescott and she left it far behind sixteen years ago. Unfortunately, time has not erased those memories and her too infrequent visits have only added to her less than stellar reputation.

Silas has wanted Lis even when she was completely out of his reach. He was always there for her when they were younger but they have a painful history and now the most he can hope for is friendship. At least that’s what he tells himself.
Despite the fact this couple hook up early in the book, afterwards it’s somewhat of a slow burn. They are each trying to give their relationship a chance to heal as they both grow to a place that is emotionally healthy.

This was a rather angst filled read as both of these characters deal with their pasts as well as the feelings that are being stirred up again so many years later. Both of them are afraid to reach out for what they want, the fear of rejection so strong. However, once they take that step there’s no slowing down or going back.

This is a fast paced read that never felt bogged down by unnecessary information. The secondary characters add to the overall picture even as they add substance to this story. When I hoard a book until the perfect, no interruptions for the whole day, read…you know I’m in love with an author. Even KA had to take a back seat to this one. I’m so excited that this author has more planned for this series. Sign me up now please!

Felicity and Silas

Heartwarming second chance romance with mild suspense. Cowboy and city girl, dual POV. Good narration.
