This was a nice enough story, nothing amazingly gripping but inoffensive. I struggle with John Lane as a narrator though. For one, I actually hate the posh London accent but beyond that, he has such a weird way of pronouncing certain things and I find it really distracting to the book being read. Kiss-eez rather than kisses, braw rather than bra, porm rather than palm. It's not just a bad English accent, he uses the same bizarre pronunciation with an American accent. Seriously just talk normal FFS!

I struggled big time with the male narrator on this one, Im not sure if he is actually British but his pronunciation of some words was shocking and I'm British. Story was ok but the see you next Tuesday reference throughout was horrid.

I tried so hard to get through this story. I don't know if it's the narrators or if the story just had a lack the interest... I got through 3 hours and I just can't anymore...

I actually chose this for the male narrator, who I'd enjoyed reading something else. I don't think he was aptly cast for this one though. The British accent sounded slightly supercilious, sometimes sort of mocking, and generally didn't sound like he felt the romance even though he stated it. In short he sounded disengaged and I couldn't get into the story
The female narrator was Ok enough.

I did not enjoy the plot. it was too predictable from the start and due to its illogical actions by the characters, it felt unsatisfactory.
