I am so incredibly glad that I decided to listen to this one on audio. The narrators were phenomenal and I just stuck my headphones on and didn’t stop listening until I was done.
If you like a small town romance entwined with suspense, this is absolutely the book for you.
This is my first of Catherine Cowles’s books, and it definitely won’t be the last. Cowles wrote this book so well weaving the perfect descriptions and flawed yet loveable characters.

Everly & Hayes, both with so much sorrow and baggage they've carried for too many years since they were young, and still so much to deal with, but they fight for themselves & each other! Author: Catherine Cowles a first listen, and it won't be my last, I will be listening to the next in this series. The narrators, as always, were amazing, thank you Zachary Webber and Andi Arndt.

A thoroughly Good Story!

I liked the premise of the story and if felt good to start with. But it got to 75% and the MCs had only kissed once, then they had some barely described spicy scenes and were in love and getting married!
The suspense plot in the background didn’t hold my attention long enough for me to really care who it was on the end. The narrator’s were excellent and probably the only reason I finished listening to the whole thing...
