Great collection of books for therapists

I found these collection of books a great resource for refreshing and fine tuning my counselling skills and would recommend this to therapists wanting to fine tune themselves in different counselling techniques in the field of mental health.

An ok combination

I read this out of interest in psychology.
It was interesting and I did get quite a lot of information out of it. Each section is arranged logically and pretty clearly.

However, The book appears to have been written by three individuals. I know this isn’t the case, but there is a lot of repetition of facts (ie what anxiety/depression is) before getting into how to deal with them. There is also little discussion on the comparison between the therapies.
The narrator did stumble in a few places or read things out oddly whcih confused me in a few areas until I just focussed on the words themselves.
The DBT and CBT sections are better written than the ACT one. The latter was very complex at the beginning but smoothed out in the end.
