Story
For decades we've been told that positive thinking is the key to a happy, rich life. "F*ck positivity," Mark Manson says. "Let's be honest, shit is f*cked, and we have to live with it." In his wildly popular Internet blog, Manson doesn't sugarcoat or equivocate. He tells it like it is - a dose of raw, refreshing, honest truth that is sorely lacking today. The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck is his antidote to the coddling, let's-all-feel-good mind-set that has infected modern society and spoiled a generation, rewarding them with gold medals just for showing up.

Story
Money - investing, personal finance, and business decisions - is typically taught as a math-based field, where data and formulas tell us exactly what to do. But in the real world people don’t make financial decisions on a spreadsheet. They make them at the dinner table, or in a meeting room, where personal history, your own unique view of the world, ego, pride, marketing, and odd incentives are scrambled together. In The Psychology of Money, award-winning author Morgan Housel shares 19 short stories exploring the strange ways people think about money.

Story
Hugh van Cuylenburg was a primary school teacher volunteering in northern India when he had a life-changing realisation: despite the underprivileged community the children were from, they were remarkably positive. By contrast, back in Australia Hugh knew that all too many children struggled with depression, social anxieties and mental illness. His own little sister had been ravaged by anorexia nervosa. How was it that young people he knew at home, who had food, shelter, friends and a loving family, struggled with their mental health, while these kids seemed so contented and resilient?

Editorial reviews
David Goggins, now widely known as America’s Fittest (Real) Man, did not have an easy road to success. Born into poverty, Goggins’s childhood was rife with abuse, neglect and prejudice; as he grew older, he developed depression. But with great dedication and perseverance, Goggins was able to achieve a series of feats. Among them? Becoming the only man in history to complete elite training as a Navy SEAL, an Army Ranger and an Air Force Tactical Air Controller.
In this awe-inspiring story, Goggins shares how he learned to overcome the obstacles in his life to reach his full potential. It’s a riveting tale full of heart that will not only inspire you, but provide you with the skills you need to face any challenge head-on, as Goggins encourages listeners to push past their limitations and tap into 100% of their capabilities. Paired with commentary from journalist Adam Skolnik, Goggins narrates his own words in a way that’s genuine and truly motivational.
Publisher's Summary
New York Times best-seller. Over five million copies sold
For David Goggins, childhood was a nightmare--poverty, prejudice, and physical abuse colored his days and haunted his nights. But through self-discipline, mental toughness, and hard work, Goggins transformed himself from a depressed, overweight young man with no future into a US Armed Forces icon and one of the world's top endurance athletes. The only man in history to complete elite training as a Navy SEAL, Army Ranger, and Air Force tactical air controller, he went on to set records in numerous endurance events, inspiring Outside magazine to name him the Fittest (Real) Man in America.
In Can't Hurt Me, he shares his astonishing life story and reveals that most of us tap into only 40 percent of our capabilities. Goggins calls this The 40% Rule, and his story illuminates a path that anyone can follow to push past pain, demolish fear, and reach their full potential.
An annotated edition of Can't Hurt Me, offering over two hours of bonus content featuring deeper insights and never-before-told stories shared by David. Not available in other formats.

Highly Inspirational
Best inspirational Audible!
Can't Hurt Me - David Goggins book started me on the right path to saving myself, he saved me from an early death, the way I was going.
I am 62, I had Type 2 Diabetes, obese at 99kg and eating all sorts of crap food and drinking every day. I was very unfit. I came across David Goggins on Youtube and started watching all his videos. I made a commitment to myself and I got off my ass and started getting up at 5 am, going into my gym space, working out on my wife's elliptical and listening to "Can't Hurt Me". I couldn't do ten minutes on that thing, without thinking I was going to die! Long story short, I finished his book while slogging it out on the elliptical. Two weeks later, I completed a half marathon on the elliptical and now do one every couple of days. Two months and I'm not stopping now, it's hard but I am now onto lifting weights, listening to other Audibles while I work out and starting to look like I did 22 years ago. I eat less and no alcohol or junk food, I have lost 10kg and my Type 2 has gone, cholesterol normal and BP 128/86.
Thank you and Roger that!

The best book I've listened to. By far
David Goggins at one point said, "I don't know if this book will change your life or not". Well it's certainly changed mine. I can tell you now that this book has the most authentic words and story I've ever heard., no tricks or gimics, just one mans struggle that he accepted and turned around. Funny thing is, we all go through the exact same struggle, which Goggins mentions on a few occasions. Listen and enjoy.

An amazing story from nothing to powerful warrior.
It is a story that is almost to much to be true, but far out what a rag to riches tail of a man that took himself from nothing to warrior and beyond.
As long as you can get over the in your face attitude you will get alot from this audio book that you will not get from just the book.
I will read again.

Seriously changed my life!!!
David’s raw life story is one that I seriously could not put down it has lit the fire under my ass to better myself and get the fuck after it. I loved the podcast/interview and in-depth way, they went with telling his life story. He’s one hard MF, his story is raw and unfucking believable!! It will change your life like it has done to mine. The tools he outlines in his book I now use on a daily basis and I couldn’t be any more hungry for life!!! There really is no finish line. Thank you so much for sharing your life with us. #stayhard
