Publisher's Summary
Which list are you on?
When a young man is found frozen to death on a Highland street in mid-December, DCI Jack Logan initially puts it down to a Christmas night out gone tragically wrong.
But, when a postmortem reveals something more sinister, Jack discovers he is dealing with a cold, calculating killer with a long line of victims, a talent for torture, and a perverse sense of justice.
Half a decade ago, the press dubbed him "The Iceman" - a twisted vigilante who successfully evaded capture for two years, before melting away into the night.
Now, The Iceman has come back. His naughty list is longer than ever.
And it contains some worryingly familiar names....
A Snowball’s Chance in Hell is the ninth book in the internationally best-selling DCI Jack Logan Scottish crime fiction series. Perfect for fans of Ian Rankin, Stuart Macbride, and Val McDermid.

Just get lost in the story
This story had me looking for places that no one could find me as I just had to listen to the next chapters. Suspenseful and heart rending at times. A wonderful read. Starting his next book today but might have to sit in the laundry and supervise the washing machine as J D Kirk leads to another suspenseful journey. 🤫😂 shhh, I’m not here

Humour in crime novels
I love Jack Logan and his team.
Jack and his "family" take the piss out of each other with humour , respect and love.
Jack's relationship with 'that' car is always a very funny listen. Can't wait for a new book. these cohorts make you laugh, cry and bellow with frustration.

What a team!
I love this series. The regular charachters become family with the listener. The narrator does a great job, edpecially with the gruff, ruff voices of Hoon and Logan. Many hilarious moments. Read them in order and I guarantee won't stop till the last one. Enjoy!

The best Detective series!
I wish I could "meet" all these fantastic characters, it's so easy to feel like you have a relationship with them...the author and extremely talented narrator are the perfect team. There were some very tense moments, and the twist at the very end was a surprise to me 😃 as for Olivia, she's going to be a force to be reckoned with! 😈
