A thoroughly enjoyable listen with, Kirk’s usual great cast of characters and, King’s pitch perfect narration. Put simply, another wonderful addition to this series and the entire “Loganverse”.

With the usual excellent blend of a murder to solve, moments of real humour, plenty of heart and emotion, plus moments of reflecting on what it is to be human and growing older, I was drawn in to DCI Logan’s world again very happily and easily for these 10 hours.

Entertaining mystery, entertaining characters.

I dont know how JD Kirk does it, or bashes these books out like it’s nothing and yet every single one is as good as the last.

Please never let Logan die.
