Another great DCI Logan story
Always such great stories, such a brilliant combination of excellent crime writing with humour woven through it. And fantastic characters. All brought to life with Angus King’s extraordinary narration. Can’t wait for the next one. Much prefer the DCI Logan series to the Bob Hoon series.

Thoroughly entertaining.
At first I wasn't sure if I'd continue with it because I absolutely despised one of the characters. However, I was lured in by the depth of the characters. Spot on reading by Angus too. I was very impressed by his many varied voices.

hilarious- very entertaining
I find it hard to describe a book about a dead girl as 'hilarious' but this was the 1st book in a long time that had me laughing out loud. I'm from near Inverness so the humour took me right back. The story was fantastic and a real page turner too but almost took second place to the interaction of the characters

So sad it’s finished.
I cannot explain the joy when I saw jDKirk had a new release! I save listening until I can really appreciate every word. The characters are superb. They have become my friends. It sounds absurd but I would be happy to only listen to J D Kirk on Audible always. I save my credits for his books. Absolutely brilliant for entertainment, laughter, love of characters and putting away of criminals (all fiction of course(. As a narrator, Angus King is 10 out of 10. Thankyou so much.
