The Wandering Inn , Book 1, has been rewritten by pirateaba and re-recorded by Andrea Parsneau. This revised edition includes new scenes and perspectives.
"No killing Goblins."
So reads the sign outside of The Wandering Inn, a small building run by a young woman named Erin Solstice. She serves pasta with sausage, blue fruit juice, and dead acid flies on request. And she comes from another world. Ours.
It's a bad day when Erin finds herself transported to a fantastical world and nearly gets eaten by a Dragon. She doesn't belong in a place where monster attacks are a fact of life, and where Humans are one species among many. But she must adapt to her new life. Or die.
In a dangerous world where magic is real and people can level up and gain classes, Erin Solstice must battle somewhat evil Goblins, deadly Rock Crabs, and hungry [Necromancers]. She is no warrior, no mage. Erin Solstice runs an inn. She's an [Innkeeper].
This audiobook edition of The Wandering Inn includes both The Wandering Inn (Book 1, Part 1) and No Killing Goblins (Book 1, Part 2)—newly published as individual books in ebook and print.

Think worrying about “first world problems” when you live in a tiger cage. There’s a moment where the MC is about to be raped to death by a goblin chief and her response seems to be “let’s make it lunch”.
The innkeeping aspect of the story is very interesting however, and despite the MC (Erin) wanting to feed everything that wants to kill, rape or torture her (while she abuses every friendship she makes on her one sided quest to be the savior of the repressed), it improves with time.
I recommend this to people who enjoy well constructed story, but only if you’re willing to listen to hours of quavery voiced self recrimination that serves almost no purpose.
Andrea Parsenau is awesome and brings the characters to life. There is only so much she can do for Erin however. Expect breathy readings of inane character regression every time the MC is exposed to anything that involves emotional adversity.
Overall a solid Like. It wasn’t as great as other books in the genre, but that could definitely improve if Erin manages to adapt rather that enforce her ridiculous pacifism on the entire world.
If that is the plan, hopefully the next book will involve a perspective change along with the words “… and the eviscerated corpse of the former innkeeper Erin was placed in a bag and tossed out the door.”
And the dumbest protagonist goes to…
