Publisher's Summary

The city of Celum is not much like Liscor at all. While Erin is surrounded by familiar, human faces, she’s far from home and without her inn.

At the same time, a certain ill-tempered Lyonette is squatting in Erin’s inn, and Goblins are on the move. The Goblin Lord’s threat reaches across the entire region, and the Redfang tribe has rallied against him with the Floodplains tribe, although their Chieftains do not agree on some crucial matters....

The continent of Izril is rife with change as a young man named Laken Godart finds himself lost like all the others. Being naturally blind does not increase his odds of survival, either, but with luck, he might survive the winter.

This winter, there is only snow, Goblins, magic, and iambic pentameter.

Hooked

Curiosity made me by book one and then I couldn’t stop …. The narrator was wonderful giving life to so many characters , I think if it was narrated by another it wouldn’t be as wonderful. Now I must buy all of the books and listen continuously..

It hooked me

I enjoyed the new characters and would love more, girl who used to be a monster/goblin interaction. Reoka frost farie story development was great as was Kisinger, Picies and other Hornes of Hamarod adventures. I found myself binge listening and really enjoying it. I also appreciated the risk in the human troll interactions of the Emperor.

You did it again pirateaba

I loved the Erin POV in the first couple of books. She is more of a side character in this book based on the time spent on her. Don't despair Wandering Inn fans. It usually annoys me when there are too many side character POVs but this I loved. Toren gets a big portion, "This is a tale of a skeleton and a monster who used to be a girl" (possibly not a direct quote) There were also several new characters developed with interesting classes. This series is meta aware of itself without being pretentious. I am looking forward to book 4.
