About this listen

The floodwaters have receded, and the war is over. A ruler has fallen. The Wind Runner lives, missing yet not forgotten.

The world is changing, growing larger. After the horrors of war and the loss of spring comes the renewal of summer, a chance for a new beginning.

Ryoka Griffin has reappeared in Izril's north. The Quarass is dead, yet the King of Destruction's war continues. In the jungles of Baleros, Geneva and her friends fall under the shadow of the Titan of Baleros. Amidst it all, Erin Solstice grieves for the dead and pulls her family close. Yet there is always a door leading her onwards to a magical future...

As always, the best damn story out there by a substantial margin. And the best narrator by a country mile.

Over to soon 🥺

What can I say 🤔
Amazing as all of the others.
I can not believe how talented both author and narrator are.
Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful imagination, I have loved every minute of it.

Great character development! Nice to hear about other aspects of the story and some coming together, looking forward to starting book 11!

So good!

Yet almost nothing happened. Every book, it's like we're building up to something but it never comes. I'll keep listening but I'm not sure if I will ever relisten like most others.

So long

Great book, can't fault it. Loved the parts with the King of Destruction. I'll never get bored of this series, whenever I'm listening despite what I'm doing it feels like I've just sat on the couch with a drink and blanket.

Like a warm embrace

That should have been the title of this book as there was more about who could forge the better item than the “wind runner”.
I hope this is just a blip in the series as I have thoroughly enjoyed it up until this book. It was 36 hours of not much happening and for the first time in this series, I found myself zoning out whilst listening.
I gave the story 2 stars because it ever so briefly mentioned my favourite character - Toren.

Battle of the forges

That self aggrandising murderer, butcher, petty tyrant and slaver is so incredibly annoying to listen to. It’s so frustrating to hear him assume the moral high ground as the butcher and conqueror of other lands for no reason other than ‘I am king’ and yet no one in the story can apparently argue against that. He is the Ghengis Khan of his world. Or in modern times, the Putin.

Too much floss
