About this listen

Winter has come to the world, and still, Erin Solstice has no idea how she came to be an [Innkeeper].

Erin is running an inn outside the city of Liscor, but she’s no longer alone. Ryoka Griffin, the City Runner, has business in the south of Izril; she’s out on a dangerous delivery of her own. Yet while both young women have finally found their calling, more and more people are beginning to realize that these visitors from Earth don’t belong here.
Erin must find new guests and old for her inn while expanding her tentative business. Staying safe would also be nice. At the same time, some pesky creatures have arrived to herald winter, and they bring mischief and danger unlike anything she’s ever seen. But as more and more children of Earth begin appearing, the cold of winter is the least of Erin’s worries.

This is such an incredible series! Do yourself a favour and continue listening! All the beloved characters are developing so much and just creating an Epic Fantasy!

61 hours, you are not going to get cheaper or more captivating entertainment. There are parts that irritated and annoyed, but the book is enthralling and I am hanging out waiting for the next. Andrea was excellent, but the first 10 minutes of this book should have been edited out.

love it and hate it, but need more

Slow but thoroughly takes you to another world. I applaud both author and narrator. Amazingly complex characters that you really get to know. Narration is excellent.

I love the book but the problem is whispersynch doesn't work for kindle in Australia for this title and I had to manually shift chapters since I alternate reading and listening.

Love the character development even though it's slow, the characters are all unique and feel like they fit in the story. The narrator was great too, much more lively than most.

Good character

I wasn’t convinced by first book, but this one was well worth the persistence. Parts made me laugh aloud (fairies). Addictive.

Great characters
