Regency Buck is, without a doubt, my favourite Georgette Heyer romance. I have read it time without number and can’t imagine ever tiring of it. I was a bit disappointed with this audio presentation, but the strength of, and my love for, this story carried me through to the end.

I enjoyed this story tremendously and know that I wouldn't have loved it as much had it been read by another. I hope she narrates more of Georgette Heyer's novels and other Regency Romances. There was a smattering of charming, likeable, quirky, odious and deceptively devious etc., characters - all brilliantly brought to life. I love how the story evolved and the way it was told. I've listened to several GH books and this has to be one of my favourites.

I’m a big fan of Georgette Heyer but this book is knee deep in privileged upper class twaddle. I disliked all of the characters and all their attitudes.

Audible, please ask Gemma Whelan to record this novel. Her narration of Arabella and Venetia are a joy.

The current narrator makes Miss Tavener sound like a petulant 5 year old and Worth sound like a cross between doctor evil and a sinister creep.
