I loved this story. It had me laughing on several occasions. The characters were many and varied. The narrator brought them to life and with his excellent narration it was easy to keep track of who was speaking. Such a fun read and listen.

I've loved this book for years and was hesitant to listen to it in case the narrator butchered it, but honestly this is pretty much the best narrator I've ever listened to for any book. He brings the characters to life and is absolutely spot on, bringing out all the humour. Please keep narrating!

Narrator absolutely nailed Alverstoke and other characters. I do wish they would employ a male and female duo to read Heyer books, it would be worth it and really bring them sufficiently to life. Frederica just lacks that sparkle one imagines
