Publisher's Summary

Borderline personality disorder (BPD) is a mental illness characterized by significant difficulties in regulating emotions and thoughts. These difficulties may lead to destructive behaviors, intense feelings of anger and depression, self-harming behaviors, drug, alcohol, or other abuses.

People with BPD may also have symptoms that resemble schizophrenia (such as paranoid or bizarre delusions), panic disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), or an eating disorder. BPD is more likely to occur in women than in men. It usually begins in early adulthood and occurs throughout a person’s life. Does this sound familiar? Listen to the audiobook to learn more.
