Great story - irritating narration
I very much enjoyed the story and the characters. However, the narration of “The Vigilante” character was very irritating. He used a rising inflection at the end of most sentences that made him sound like a Cockney newsreader. The narrator of Corrine’s character used a dreadful accent that left me wondering what nationality she was actually meant to be. The Detective’s narration was excellent. The voice was in keeping with his character and let you become immersed in the story, rather than distracted by weird inflections or poorly executed accents. An engaging, layered storyline let down somewhat by poor narration. I probably would have enjoyed this more if I had read rather than listened to it.
