What a privilege to hear Henry Ford's words!

I genuinely enjoyed listening to his story and thoughts about business, motivation and the right way to live.

Brilliantly written and read, should be a compulsory school text

If people followed Ford's principles it would be a happier and prosperous place for everyone.

A must read to be inspired for greatness

Written in 1922, the principles in this book are still applicable today for the modern industry. I'm sure Elon Musk is applying some of the Ford principle in his business. Toyota championed the lean six sigma, but I think Ford came up with this idea first to cut out all the waste from his production plant.
Even politician and policy maker can learn something from his philosophy.

The Foundational Modern Business Story

Henry Ford provides a riveting account of the development of the Ford Motor Company, and a case study of best business practices in manufacturing, management and finance. While living and working in an earlier time, Henry Ford shows that 'modern man' refers to an attitude to life and production rather than a time in history. I could imagine the narrator as Henry Ford himself, confident and commanding.

As pertinent today as when written a century ago.

I was initially reticent to read this book as I thought it would be just about cars and I'll heard some slurs about Henry Ford. But quickly the reluctance was passed by the insights and logic that built from the first chapter to the last.

Woke Alert : Ford's frank and forthright speaking came from a proved lessons learned rather that the sea of opinions that pass for knowledge today. There is nothing that is in this words is "namby-pamby". Yet his self expression invokes humanity, peace, equality, thrift and social responsibility. If you are not woke, or want to get off the woke treadmill, this book will be like a healing tonic.

The narrator was just right and I imagined Ford might have sounded like him.

I'm going to read the hard copy now to maximise the value of what he had to say.

Interesting commentary

Henry Ford presents his guiding beliefs for life, business, industry, and nationalism amidst his life work on cars and tractors. Worth a listen.
