great book

it was a great book, I honestly did not know how emotions can really affect you. but after reading this I can 100% say I am a bit more emotional intelligence

Focuses on definitions

This book is focusing way too much on definitions of emotions. It’s the kind of stuff you could find in a Google search on what is an emotion and what are the telltale signs of such emotion.

It points out the obvious like how when emotions are mishandled they have negative consequences.

I was hoping this book would focus on the how to fix emotions rather than describing their definition in great detail.

While understand you need to have some basic definitions are the way the first three chapters of the book are just definition after definition after definition.

It was very disappointing that nothing truly original was found in those first three chapters.

Practical, Easy, Perspective on Managing Emotions!

I’m not really big on emotions. I typically try to just suppress or ignore them and focus on moving forward. It will take a while to change, and I’ll probably refer to this audio-book frequently, but I now have a different view of emotions and how to deal with them more effectively. Thanks Adam Feel.

A great learning audible
