Story
Gender identity ideology is about more than Twitter storms and using the right pronouns. In just 10 years, laws, company policies, school and university curricula, sport, medical protocols, and the media have been reshaped to privilege self-declared gender identity over biological sex. People are being shamed and silenced for attempting to understand the consequences of redefining "man" and "woman". While compassion for transgender lives is well-intentioned, it is stifling much-needed inquiry into the significance of our bodies.

Story
Most Americans do not understand the real threat that the “transgender” agenda, or the so-called “gender identity” movement, poses to all of us—especially women and girls—nor do they understand the extent to which it is taking over US law and civil society. The simple truth is that “gender identity” functions to abolish sex, and all of our civic institutions—government, media, academia, and business—have been completely captured by it.

What is the boy crisis? It's a crisis of education. For the first time in American history, our sons will have less education than their dads. It's a crisis of mental health. As boys become young men, their suicide rates go from equal to girls to six times that of young women. It's a crisis of sexuality. Sex is a minefield for our sons. They're bombarded with mixed messages, afraid of being either too sensitive or not sensitive enough.

Story
If it is true that God is a male, then his divinity or deity is expressed in his masculinity. Yet, I am a woman, and there are parts of my body, such as my breasts, vagina, and womb that are telling a story about God that I have never learned or understood. This is an exploration of the significance of a womb that must shed and bleed before it can create. How will we engage our body which cyclically bleeds most of our life and can build and birth a human soul? How will we honor the living womb that lives and, sometimes, dies within us?

In To Change the World, James Davison Hunter offers persuasive answers to these questions.

Story
It has been proclaimed many times, but perhaps never more convincingly than now, when every news cycle seems to deliver further confirmation of a world gone mad. Is this the endgame? Author Spencer Klavan is a classicist, with a Ph.D. from Oxford, and a deep understanding of the West. His analysis: The situation is dire. But every crisis we face today, we have faced before. And we can surmount each one. Klavan brings to the West’s defense the insights of Plato, Aristotle, the Bible, and the Founding Fathers to show that in the wisdom of the past lies hope for the future.

Publisher's Summary
A revised and updated edition (with more than 70% new material) of the classic book about innate differences between boys and girls and how best to parent and teach girls and boys successfully, with new chapters on sexual orientation and on transgender and intersex kids.
Back in 2005, the first edition of Why Gender Matters broke ground in illuminating the differences between boys and girls—how they perceive the world differently, how they learn differently, how they process emotions and take risks differently. Dr. Sax argued that in failing to recognize these hardwired differences between boys and girls, we ended up reinforcing damaging stereotypes, medicalizing misbehavior, and failing to help kids to reach their full potential. In the intervening decade, the world has changed, with an avalanche of new research which supports, deepens, and expands Dr. Sax's work. This revised and updated edition includes new findings about how boys and girls interact differently with social media and video games; a new discussion of research on gender non-conforming, LGB, and transgender kids, new findings about how girls and boys see differently, hear differently, and even smell differently; and new material about the medicalization of misbehavior.

A must read for parents and teachers
I knew from my own experiences as a child, teenager and adult that there were key differences between men and women. However, I did not realise just how different they really were. Have a read!

Clear, Concise. Fascinating.
Why Gender Matters is an excellent example of a book that covers a complex topic in a simplified way to make it engaging all the way through. Points are presented in a very easy to follow manner with a great mix of empirical evidence and real world examples. Narration is also very good.

good content and performance by this publisher. I find it interesting and valuable to suggest to educators, parents and anyone with an open mind. It's a shame that the accompanied PDF was non-existent when I was listening. I hope Audible can follow up on that.

A must read for every parent, leader, teacher,
I have recommended this book to more people than I can count after listening to it only this week.
The stance is politically neutral and science based.
It explained everything I assumed it would and heaps more I hadn’t even considered.
I’m glad as a parent that I read, and I’m sad as a (former) student and child that it wasn’t read by a lot of adults, teachers in my life. Amazing information.
I am an avid reader. 3-4 novels a month and this is easily one of the best books I’ve heard/read in a long time.
