    In this episode, Rob meets with Sarah Gaer. Sarah is an author, speaker, and thought leader. She also speaks very openly about her experience as a survivor of multiple suicide losses. Most recently, Sarah has provided training to first responders about trauma and suicide prevention, and she also is a crisis responder herself.

    Sarah discusses her experience surviving a “cluster" of suicides including the loss of her best friend, the work she is doing studying the soul and how it is forgotten in modern psychology, the concepts of Soul Exhaustion and Soul Care, the Guts, Grit, and the Grind project, which is focused on men’s mental health, and finally, we talk about some of the unique challenges facing men when it comes to mental health and suicidality.
