• 12 l The Spiritual Party Girl Episode
    Jul 15 2025

Being a party girl can make you a good person! My friend, Emily, cohost of the 'Definitely Delusional' podcast, is here to tell you allllll about that. She wanted to restore the rep of untz untz and tell about how music festivals, the dance floor, and how what most identify as taboo debauchery woke her up to the Universe and connects her to her chakras. At it's core, festivals, partying, and dancing are about connection, community, freedom, and love. As a retired party girl (s/o mini SUV's), I absolutely subscribe to this hot take.

Our banter is impeccable, we rep Calabria, and we do espresso shots in leopard print. Check out our mob wife style (that's ALWAYS been the girls from Calabria's style - my culture is not your costume), hear about how Serena Williams is teaching my editor, Nick, how to crip walk, and celebrate the divine feminine freedom that comes from throwing it back. Plur.

    Jun 24 2025

My written plans for my funeral and wake extravaganzas are as follows. It is very important to write down your funeral plans. Make your final farewell specific to your personal brand. It is more important that we all get more comfortable talking about our own deaths because yeah...that's gonna happen.

  • 10 l The Gym, Food, Brain, and Smiles Episode
    Jun 17 2025

When I left the hospital, I couldn’t walk more than 10 feet. Prior to that, I spent over a decade in a toxic relationship with food & my body defined by alternating between overeating and under eating and over exercising and under exercising. Now, I’m in the best shape of my life and my kink is making boys insecure at the gym.

Hannah Leboff was a key part of that journey. An instructor at my gym, whose strength training class I’ve taken weekly for nearly 4 years now. Hannah is a fitness instructor who I owe my body to. She is certified in literally everything, taught me to not ‘fear’ weights as a woman, and inspires me weekly.

However, Hannah wasn’t always that way. She also spent over a decade encompassed by literally every eating disorder ever: anorexia, bulimia, orthorexia, binge eating - you name it, she had it. Ignited by mental health issues like ADHD and depression, she spent years hopeless and thinking she had no way out.

Like me, Hannah found the gym. Fitness became a source of empowerment, not something to fear. She dedicated herself to healing her body and brain. Now; she’s a new mom, killer instructor, strong af, and a glowing light in my life.

The brain & body are connected, a little too connected. Well, actually, that depends on how you view it. Working out can be a source of happiness, community, self respect, pride and relaxation or diet & exercise can be something to agonize over, try to control in negative ways, and destroy one’s self confidence, love, and happiness.

Exercise is a crucial and often ignored part of mental health. It saved my brain and dragged both Hannah and I out of some nasty dark places. Prioritizing exercise is prioritizing the brain.

  • 9 l The Curly Hair Extensions Episode
    Jun 10 2025

First time I cried after my accident for a legit reason that wasn't espresso martinis? When all my hair fell out of my head! A combination of significant bodily trauma and being exposed to exorbitant amounts of anesthesia caused my seemingly endless amounts of thick curly hair to abandon me during the time I needed it most.

Unfortunately...that happens to a lot of people along complicated health journeys and battles, not just me.

Losing your hair is losing a part of your sense of self. And if you're like me where your hair is 70% of your personality, that significant part equates to a loss of confidence and a loss of hope. Especially after you've already lost so much.

Curly hair extensions are rumored to be a myth, but I live in the City of Angels and one of those angels is Israel (Izzy) Guzman: celebrity hairstylist, hair extension specialist, hair colorist, crystal shop owner, spiritual student, and, most importantly, friend.

I met Izzy along my mission to bring back what I thought was a defining trait of myself and while many will argue that it's not, it's just hair...eh...the people who's hair have fallen out emotionally beg to differ. We talk about why hair is so important, how hair loss can be a massive, often unspoken, trauma, and why maintaining hair and bringing back one's hair is a necessary act of service.

Come learn about hair, learn about this underplayed trauma, learn about empathy, learn about self love.

  • 8 l The Destiny Via Trauma & Weed Episode
    Jun 3 2025

Grab your tea, light that sage (or palo santo if you're feeling fancy), and buckle up—because this episode is a cosmic ride!

This week, I’m joined by the radiant and revolutionary Ryan Bacchas, a man whose journey reads like a spiritual superhero origin story. Once navigating life without a roof over his head as a teen, Ryan became a government lobbyist by nineteen—yes, NINETEEN—playing a key role in legalizing medical marijuana in California (you’re welcome). Today, he runs The New Atlantis, a holistic healing hub that's less lost city and more conscious community HQ.

We dive into everything from embracing trauma as a love-powered launchpad, to Ryan’s bold belief that this is humanity’s year to level up and glow up—together. If you’ve been wondering how to turn your pain into purpose while giggling through the healing process, this episode is your vibe.

Come for the spiritual insights, stay for the joy, and maybe leave with a few more tools to help light the world on fire—with love, of course.

  • 7 l The Girl Dad Battles Brain Cancer Episode
    May 20 2025

Making peace, surrendering, accepting that death is inevitable and not fearing it - a mindset 99% of the world can only dream of reaching, but Bill Hartman did, in fact, inspirationally reach. Today I sit down with my new friend, Annie Hartman, to talk about all she learned about life, faith, trust, empathy, & strength from watching her dad, Bill, battle brain cancer.

We discuss the harsh realities of living with or watching a loved one live with a brain injury. These harsh realities are so harsh that they often do not discriminate, no matter what caused them albeit an illness, trauma, genetic mutation etc. Despite these harsh realities, through Bill’s battle, Annie was blessed with the certainty of her faith.

Annie and I both hope that we can make the public more aware of the difficulties brain impairments present, both to the victim and family and loved ones of. Listen to us celebrate the man Bill was while Annie tells about all the positivity he bled into this world, her own life, strangers’ lives, and his sold-out rock concert funeral.

Annie was sprinkled into my life by the Universe, just as I started this podcast. For that, I am eternally grateful because she generously gifted us this conversation.

  • 6 l The Chiropractor for Metal Ribs Episode
    May 13 2025

9 metal bones? Ya, fitness gonna be a tad difficult, but it's a tons of tads necessary. Since my accident, I've made fitness a priority to rebuild and maintain both my mental and physical strength. Buuutttt with a once shattered body, there is definitely more I need to pay attention to than the average perason.

Meet Dr. Jackson Bates, lead clinician at Myodetox West Hollywood. Jackson is the only chiropractor or physical therapist I've worked with who seems to actually care about what's going on with me mentally - something all specialists and experts should care about because the body and mind are cohesive. Physical trauma and metal trauma have a tendency to go hand in hand.

Making sure to approach all patients with empathy, understanding, and customized goal setting, Jackson is able to execute success in chronic pain management, rehabilitation, myofascial release, and strength and conditioning to heal and future-proof the body.

All my brain doctors have confirmed that my mental recovery has only been as good as it has been because of my focus on fitness - and that focus would not be possible without Dr. Jackson, or Jax, as his friends and family call him. Come learn about the body and mind and understand a little how it all goes together. Caring for one is crucial for caring for the other.
