Eric didn't ask to be a vampire. In fact he didn't even believe in them. Biting your own tongue with your fangs does a lot of convincing. Even so, being a part-time undead isn't as easy as you might think. this is not a challenging book but it does have some adult content
it really is a whole lot of fun
and narrated by sean runnette who is frankly damn good at his job

I really the performance. Very easy to listen to. Quite enjoyed the story in the end but it was a bit slow getting started. Kind of just slowly gained direction.

I have never really read much from this genre and wasn't expecting to like it ...but wow ...just wow I loved this book so much I have already purchased the next 5 audio books in the series ...all I can say is give it a go you will not be disappointed..

Twilight seemed to poison the vampire genre for awhile. writers have struggled to crawl from the sappy love story vampire skit. Thankfully nightlord puts a original twist on vampires. the story while not action packed keeps you interested and has it's charming moments. The story is rich in lore and its protagonist while over powered is charming. If your over watching the hero get his ass handed to him. before coming to the rescue this book should be the breather you need.
