If you have read the night Lord series upto this point and loved it then you will love this. In my case I think I love it even more. Phoebe just resonates with me and Reba Buhr does a magnificent job of bringing Phoebe's perspective to life. I really hope this spin off series continues.

He's outstanding, and I am so eager and excited for the next chapter in the Nightlord series. Although the narrator wasn't Sean Runnette (makes sense that Phoebe is narrated by someone else), the book is still epic, and the tale is a mighty great one! Garon has always had my high praises and this book exceeds them. It was a nice twist compared to Eric's story and his tales so far. Phoebe has made Eric a better monster, gotten under his skin, and made his obsidian black heart melt. Eric's always been a softy to me (just don't piss him off!), but he has that Jekyll and Hyde thing going on, and I love it. He needed Phoebe in his life and him in her life. Keep on doing what you're doing, Garon! Oh the edge of my seat now waiting for book 8! Bring it on!
