At the age of 17, Spurgeon became pastor to a handful of believers at Waterbeach in Cambridgeshire, meeting in what had been a dovecote. Within five years, he had become the best-known minister in London. Two years later, following the Sepoy Mutiny, he conducted a service of national humiliation in the Crystal Palace that was attended by 24,000 people. Exceptional, recommend to all Christians
This really is a great book telling in his own words what God did through George Muller’s life and can still do today. I recommend this book to all Christians.
These are forgotten truths that we all need to relearn, our Father in Heaven owns the cattle on a thousand hills and if what we are doing is actually His will and desire, not just our own great ideas for what we think Hod should do, then He will supply our every need for every part of our life and ministry Himself. We don’t need to beg the world for financial assistance, we can simply ask Him who saved our souls and called us to His work.
Simple, straightforward and true but so often forgotten or when remembered not trusted.
Read the truth of trust and obey and be astounded again and again at the glory of God our Father, Jesus His Son and our Saviour and the Holy Spirit if God, our constant guide and companion.
If you struggle to get by financially and want to learn God’s way to security and happiness, not wealth, this truly is the book to inspire you to trust God and to bask in His Grace and Mercy.
A wonderful journey through the life of a faithful man and our faithful God.
Please, read and be blessed.
