Publisher's Summary

In Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus, now expanded with new bonus content, Nabeel Qureshi describes his dramatic journey from Islam to Christianity, complete with friendships, investigations, and supernatural dreams along the way.

Providing an intimate window into a loving Muslim home, Qureshi shares how he developed a passion for Islam before discovering, almost against his will, evidence that Jesus rose from the dead and claimed to be God. Unable to deny the arguments but not wanting to deny his family, Qureshi struggled with an inner turmoil that will challenge Christians, Muslims, and all those who are interested in the world's greatest religions.

Engaging and thought-provoking, Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus tells a powerful story of the clash between Islam and Christianity in one man's heart - and of the peace he eventually found in Jesus.

The New York Times best-selling Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus has been expanded to include:

  • A revised foreword
  • A new afterword by Mark Mittelberg and reflection by Nabeel's wife
  • An audiobook exclusive conversation between Nabeel and his close friend and roommate David Wood, discussing Nabeel's decision to follow Christ, how his parents found out, and much more
  • Expert contributions from scholars and ministry leaders on each section of the audiobook included in the audiobook companion PDF download, contributions previously included only in the ebook edition
  • An appendix included in the audiobook companion PDF download tackling the objection that Ahmadi Muslims are not true Muslims

PLEASE NOTE: When you purchase this title, the accompanying PDF will be available in your Audible Library along with the audio.

Great book to help get an insight into Islam!

A heart felt testimony on a man's struggle to find the One True God. A brilliant glimpse into the life of Muslims and an incredible journey alongside one man's journey to faith in Jesus. The added testimonies by Lee Strobel and Michelle Qureshi in particular were very encouraging to hear and a welcome bonus compared to the print copy / previous edition of this book. Could not recommend this book enough!

Find Jesus

This is a very well written book. I know that some Muslims do not like this man as, he did leave the Islamic religion after all. However this book is written in a way that is both logical and non-offensive to either Islam or Christianity.

Islam just simply does not stand up to the criticisms as well as Christianity does.

INCREDIBLE!!! This book affected me greatly!!!

I honestly don't have the words to adequately review this book, or describe how greatly it affected me. I, too, grew up in a Muslim household and found Christ later in life. My family life was nowhere near as devout as Nabeel's. Rather than immersed in the Quran and daily Islamic prayer and study, my childhood was oppressed by the cultural implications and effects of a Muslim upbringing. As the oldest of six girls who lived in a vanilla Midwestern suburb (no boys) my father resented me big time. My childhood, especially the teenage years, were filled with abuse, neglect, strict rules to follow that made no sense, and the message that girls and women were unworthy of much. I struggled big time with our "cafeteria Islamic" faith, which basically consisted of not talking to boys, not eating pork, and not uttering the name of Jesus or celebrating Christian holidays like Christmas and Easter. It was a miserable existence, and after my disinterested father arranged a marriage for me at the age of 19 to a man twice my age that no one had ever met and who lived on the other side of the country, I left home to be on my own.

It wasn't until I was in my mid-30s that I found Christ. My experience was a more gentler, kinder discovery than Nabeel's. But so much of what he wrote about with regard to family dynamics, struggle against past beliefs, and the division Christian faith caused resonated deeply with me. Most profound for me were his revelations that despite all the hardship he went through, God made it known to him clearly that it "wasn't about you." Meaning, there is a bigger purpose in his salvation.

What an amazing testimony he gave! I listened nearly straight through, enraptured by every word. It affected me so deeply. It reminded me not to ever take a single blessing for granted. Today, I look back with awe at how much peace, blessing, success, love, and opportunity the Lord provided specifically to me, for me. For no other reason that my True Father in Heaven adores me.

I sobbed at the end of this book, so moved and humbled and grateful to have stumbled upon this book. It stayed with me a very, very long time, and I know it will continue to remain with me for many weeks and months to come. Most moving was the commentary at the end of the book by his wife, Michelle. I know she's aware of just how profoundly this book and Nabeel's story will impact the world. I so very much look forward to meeting Nabeel one day in the Kingdom of Heaven!!!

Such a blessing & so sad too!

I’m recommending this wonderful book to my sisters and brothers in law! I’m very thankful to begin to understand the Muslim belief system as well as more of my own Christian beliefs. May God keep the Qureshi family close to His heart & in His mercy. My prayers will include them, especially his little girl now growing up without her precious daddy.

Good for learning about Christianity and Islam

Educational, entertaining, and a heart felt narration by the author. Good for a Muslim interested in learing about Christianity or a Christian interested in learning about Islam...or any one who wants a perspective on both in one book.

A life-changing book

I'll never again see Islam or Christianity the same. This is one of the most compelling cases for the Gospel I've ever experienced. Thank you Nabeel, I'm grateful for what you did for this world while you were here. Thank you David Wood, you both have opened my eyes.

Understanding my Muslim Co-worker

I read this book to better understand and be able to work with my Muslim co-worker. It worked well for that reason. What I didn’t realize was how much it would boost my faith in Jesus and my desire to share that with others.

Excellent book

I’m so glad I got the audible because the Nabeel’s voice and dialect made it all more interesting. I probably would have messed up some of the Islamic terms, so I’m glad to hear Nabeel speak them just as they are pronounced. I wanted to read this book so bad but i would not have finished in the week it took for me to listen to it. I highly recommend it. It’s very informative and gives much detail to Nabeel’s thought process. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Genuine, brilliant and hearftelt!

This book is not only a powerful testimony of the truth of Jesus but also a touching and eye opening account of a muslim family way of life and the grip of islam on the core identity of a muslim believer, alongside other key points. Nabeel has managed through this book to dissipate much of my prejudices and fear of muslim people and put in me compassion for them and a desire to seek to understand them in the context of their culture. Instead of fearing them and rejecting them, the true follower of Jesus should seek to win them for the true kingdom of God, in love and relentless patience, just like David did with Nabeel.

Life changing!

This book is such a precious resource as it is a story of how God changed the heart of the most devout Muslim, Nabeel. He reads his story himself and you feel like he is speaking just to you. There were things he said that made me stop in my tracks, because God has used this wonderful faithful man and will continue to use his testimony to save both Muslims and other non- Christians alike. It is such an encouragement to keep telling others about Jesus, knowing what you believe, living it out and loving others. I have the beginnings of a much better understanding of Islam now and love that I can refer back to this book anytime. May God bless his wife and daughter and I look forward to meeting Nabeel in Heaven!

Loved this audio book and found it riveting stuff.

I could not stop listening to this audio book. I found it moving, down to earth, profound, informative, etc.. Very important reading for those that are seeking truth rather than just looking to consolidate what they think they already know. I will definitely look at his videos and podcasts. I can't recommend it highly enough.

Absolutely mind blowing

This testimony in itself shows that Jesus still reveals Himself to anyone who calls on Him.

One big takeaway for me is that no Christian generation has ever enjoyed the privilege of living, working or studying with this many Muslims in the West or wherever you are (together with the availability of social media). The fact is that we can lovingly share our friendship & faith in a way that early Christian missionaries lacked. This book above all things presents an understanding of not just the Islamic way of life, but the culture which weaves it’s way around the religion. You’re taught to respect the cultural differences & looking through eyes of love, do you become effective in reaching the individual through the help of the Holy Spirit.
