Ellen Williams, a Native American who has the gift of foretelling the future, is at a loss to explain her recurring nightmares and uncanny premonition. When her brother’s old army friend, Travis Petersen, appears in her bookshop, Ellen can’t shake the idea there’s a strange connection between her visions and his arrival. Plagued by disturbing dreams Travis is struggling to salvage his life and, suffering from guilt of the car accident which took the lives of his wife and son, believes he has nothing to offer a woman.
