Amanda Harper's life has changed a lot in the few weeks since she met Tempest Michaels. Working out her notice period in Kent Police, she has already taken a new job as a paranormal investigator to work alongside him. She could be interested in Tempest, but even after she arrested (thankfully he was innocent) Brett Barker, the single, athletic multimillionaire heir to the Barker family fortune, he still wants to take her on a date to Paris in his helicopter. How does a girl say no to that?

When a newspaper ad typo sends all manner of daft paranormal enquiries his way, PI Tempest Michaels has no sense of the trouble and danger heading his way. In no time at all, he has multiple cases to investigate, but it’s all ridiculous nonsense like minor celebrity Richard Claythorn, who believes he is being stalked by a werewolf and a shopkeeper in a nearby village with an invisible thief.

Falsely advertised as a paranormal investigator, Tempest Michaels has a serial killing vampire to track down and a poltergeist to catch...because he’s staked his reputation on proving none of it is real. Helped by disillusioned cop, Amanda Harper, the duo is not only pitted against a brotherhood of vampire wannabes, but also a desperately ticking clock when one of his friends is taken. He’s got all the help he could need and more, though, as his friends, his mum, and his dogs are pitching in!

In the brooding, dark landscape of England, with its rolling hills and forgotten castles, the dark breeds evil in every shadow. Well, almost every shadow. Some of them have stupid in them instead. 

Tempest Michaels is once again investigating ridiculous cases that are clearly not even slightly paranormal in nature, but his daily menu of fun is interrupted by a plague of men dressed in garish outfits with twisted clown makeup as they terrorize the Kent towns and villages with ever-escalating and more-frequent attacks.

Gold coins from a centuries-old sunken treasure ship have been found on the beach in Cawsand. This would be no cause for Tempest Michaels to take notice, but a man murdered by the ghost of a dead pirate come to claim back the gold? That ticks all his boxes. Tempest, oblivious to the events in Cawsand and believing he was overdue a week off, has traveled to Cornwall with his dogs for some relaxation and perhaps a cream tea or two. Well, fat chance of that, because he is hip-deep in murderous ghosts before he finishes his second pint. 

What was she thinking? Quitting her steady job for the police for an uncertain future at a paranormal investigation agency? No time to dwell on it though, as she has a new client with a surprising problem: Kimberly Kousins has been cursed by a voodoo priest. Determined to prove to herself, her former chief inspector, and everyone else that she is a capable woman with no need for a man to rescue her, she is going to have to bend the day to her will.

Tempest Michaels is back! His office burned down, his love life is a joke, and he is convinced he is getting fat. It's the perfect time for a new case, then. The client is the son of a man who was killed in freak accident - struck by lightning. That doesn't sound very paranormal until you learn that he was inside his house when it happened and his heart exploded out of his chest. There are eldritch runes drawn on the victim’s house and his wife has been seen colluding with a mysterious old crone. Is there witchcraft being practiced in the nearby village of East Malling? The client certainly thinks so.

When a farmer hires paranormal investigator Amanda Harper to look into his glowing milk, she doesn’t sense how crazy things are about to get, and before she can even start investigating, a frozen body is found and the conspiracy theory nutters arrive to argue about the inner workings of an alien freeze ray...Crop circles, doped cows, spacecraft sightings, and a mysterious government agency trained to repel alien invasions all combine to give Amanda Harper her toughest test yet in this funny, cozy mystery.

Tempest Michaels is going undercover with best friend Big Ben to find out why his dad was found unconscious and stuffed into a wheelie bin. There is no client this time, just a definite need to find someone worthy of a jolly good punch in the pants. With strange noises coming through the floor of the rigging room and reports of ghosts seen at night wearing the uniform of 18th-century Royal Navy officers, the chaps set out to unravel the mystery, but is there more going on than a simple fake haunting?

The team has grown to three, but the workload isn’t getting any smaller. With reports of Hell’s Angel's werewolves, dead relatives returning to haunt their loved ones, unspeakable aberrations hiding in the shadows, and the unwanted attention of a macabre serial killer, the team at Blue Moon Investigations is in even more trouble than usual.

Jane Butterworth doesn’t believe in normal, but then she used to be a vampire, and she works at a paranormal investigation agency. Oh, and she’s a boy. When a name from her past suddenly surfaces, Jane knows that she is the only one that could solve the case. With the detectives unavailable, and a tearfully desperate client, there is no choice but to pretend she knows what she is doing and answer the cry for help

On the slopes of the French Alps, there is blood on the snow. Something abominable is striking fear into the inhabitants and visitors of a remote ski resort. Tempest Michaels isn’t worried though, the Yeti will just be a smokescreen designed to focus attention away from the real crime. It will just be a man in a suit; it always is. But the client is the owner of a hotel which means he’s got an all-expenses-paid break in the magnificent mountains while he tries to solve his latest case. He couldn’t be happier.

Every second generation of the Hale line dies at the hands of an unnameable monster on his 80th birthday. The current Lord Hale turns 80 this Saturday. When two bikers are found half-eaten, the coroner’s report records an animal attack. But England doesn’t have any large predators. Unless you count werewolves. Tempest Michaels, paranormal detective, gets hired by the dead bikers’ gang to find out what happened and point the finger at a new rival motorcycle club in the next town. Calling themselves the Herne Bay Howlers, they proudly display a werewolf on their jackets, and they are far from your average Hell’s Angels.
