Story
I'm Lexie Delaney, and I'm a necromancer. Which means, I can see the dead, talk to them, affect them. Not as fun as it sounds. Especially since the Veil closed and the dead have been stuck here. Things in town are getting tense. School is starting, and I'm already tired of our plan to keep our relationships quiet. Bodies keep showing up and no one has a clue as to why.

Story
My name is Alexis, though everyone calls me Lexie. I'm a Necromancer. I see the dead, talk to them, and help them move on. Well, I used to. Now, with the Veil closed, I'm the only way for a soul to cross over. It's wearing me out, and according to my doctor, it's going to kill me. I don't know how to tell the guys. I'm working on it, but there is so much going on right now; Isaac's acting strange, Ethan's worried that his brother isn't eating or sleeping, Asher's dad is back, and Tara is still snooping around my bedroom. My symptoms are getting worse, and we're running out of time.

I'm Alexis Delaney. I'm your average 17-year-old girl. Except I can see the dead. And talk to the dead and help them move on. So...okay, I'm not your average 17-year-old girl. The Veil is still shut. Which means the dead can't move on, not on their own. Through my Link to the Veil, I've been able to start helping souls to cross. The Veil is changing, healing. Like I am. Since I came home from the hospital, I've been hiding behind my best friends. That's about to change. I want my life back. I'm ready to get back to normal. Then Sophie, the twins' little sister, tells me she's ready.

Now, I am headed south with my best friends, staying in close quarters with five guys, four guys whom I have kissed, one who has been ignoring me for the last few weeks, one who keeps sneaking kisses, one who doesn't even remember it, and another...well, I don't know what he wants. Thank God for Miles. He's my one safe place in this disaster I've created.

What’s better than three monstrous hotties? How about four.... Somehow my new lovers make me feel like I’ve gotten the better part of the bargain. Unfortunately, their newly-rescued boss isn’t so keen on humans. I get the feeling he’d rather rend me limb from limb than give me the time of day. Too bad for him my mortal skills are just too useful to toss aside.

Turning 18 and getting accepted into college brings me everything I need to escape from the nightmares of my past but I never could have imagined my nightmares - and dreams - were just beginning. Finding myself thrown into a world of fantasy, politics, friendships, and rules that are nearly impossible to understand, I feel like I'm drowning in a world of shifters I never knew existed. As I struggle to find my place and prevent my nightmares from tearing me apart, I find myself surrounded by an unusual group of sexy men.
Publisher's Summary
Forget everything you know about the world. Vampires exist, Werewolves exist, monsters hide in the shadows, and it's my job to make sure they obey our laws. My name is Evelyn, and I'm a gargoyle. The last one or so I thought. A team of Gargoyles have found me. And for the first time in over a century, I'm not the only one of my kind around, which is a good thing since demons are slipping into this world fully formed.
The bodies are piling up. Something is going on in my city, and it looks like I'm going to need the backup.

One of my favourites
I love this book! This isn't the first time I have listened to this as an audiobook and every time it never gets old. The female protagonist is a badass woman who knows how to rely on herself but isn't too proud to ask for help. The ending of this book does end on a cliffhanger but it is not a huge one and instead gives you more of an option on whether you want to read the next book straight away or a bit later on. Every time, this book leaves me with so many thoughts that it is hard to write them all down, but know this, Found is an amazing book. B.L Brunnemer is an amazing author and I have yet to be disappointed in her writing. If you have read the blurb and think you might like it, give it a go, you might find you love it as much as I do. I love this book!

New Author for me and wow .. Interesting story line, great character development. . Exciting action .. The Narators are easy to listen to. Although the male narator, some of the accents sounded of but easily overlooked. I'm definitely of to buy the next part of the story, I hate cliff hangers..

Definately recommend!
I rate alot of books but not many get my lazy butt to actually write praise! Evie is a heroine I can get behind in every way. Its been awhile since Ive been so happy with the female lead. I absolutely adore how she is so badass and strong, as well as scholarly smart and independent. Although who wouldn't be after 100 years of youth, am I right!? She's no whiner, she isn't faint of heart and thank you thank you..she doesn't overthink every tiny thing, she knows what she wants and commits to her choices come what may. No over the top phyco mental babble here!! yay! Go Evie! I haven't finished the book yet, but was excited to share.

Love this story - can’t wait for more!
I’ll be honest, I read this book on kindle when it first released. I love this author, and I love this series. The plot is unique and I enjoy the characters. I have one complaint; I may be a bit of an audiophile like Lexie (per her definition). I can’t listen to the male actor’s voice for Zahur without hearing Voldemort from the HP movies. Not a huge deal, because there’s not a ton from his POV, and I’m probably just a crazy person, but I struggled a bit with just that one thing. Overall, I loved it!

Wow
I was really liking this book until the end. Evie is a great heroine. She's strong, determined and has really made her place in the world. Then she just agrees to be a good little wifey and stay home while the big tough men go out and kill demons. It was so irritating that she completely gave into their unwillingness to see her as anything other than a helpless, pathetic female, even though they knew she was more than capable. The only one who actually respected her, of course, wasn't her mate. This honestly ruined the book for me and I don't even think I can finish it. I liked the female narrator but wasn't a fan of the male narrator. His female voices were fine but Zahar sounded like a little old man and his Scottish accent was just bad. I really don't see a need for two narrators, Kensington could easily handle the entire book.

Wonderful story.
I discovered this title while exploring for something new to listen too. The synopsis sounded interesting so I gave it a try. This is a fabulous story. ***It is part one and ends in a cliffhanger. The characters are interesting. They all have distinct personalities that develop throughout the story. The support characters enhance the development of the plot and leave you anticipating their stories in the future. Evelyn is a strong female character who has been successfully independent for a long time. While she appreciates the comfort of discovering others of her own kind, she doesn’t allow them them to dictate her life. The males are attempting to control their instinct to be overprotective, but she doesn’t hesitate when letting them know they are being annoying, or to ignore them and do what she needs to. The author does a good job establishing the foundation of the characters behaviors, allowing you to like them even when they are being irrational. I hope the second installment of the series is available in audiobook soon!

I love Gargoyles what can I say?
I absolutely love Gargoyles, and I know this fact alone has made me a bit bias in my judgment of this book. Reading the blurb, I was expecting a lot more. I was expecting lots of detailed descriptions of the Gargoyles, and at least some of the many wonderful Gargoyle traits I have come to expect when reading fiction about Gargoyles to shine through, there was not a whole lot in this book. For goodness sakes we did not even get a description of what their Gargoyle forms look like, aside from the fact they could sprout wings. One would think reading this author's take on Gargoyles the only time they are in their alternative forms are when they are stone. Aside from the slow moving pace of this book and the lack of descriptiveness, I don't want you to think I did not enjoy this book, or find it entertaining, there were things I didn't like, however, there are good parts as well; there were a lot of tall sexy muscular guys, there were a few good fights, and adventurers. And the best part of all was the heroine was not a stupid, shallow, spoiled, codependent, little twit like you are used to seeing in so many romance novels. Even though the attitude of her male was condescending and bullheaded in the beginning ( he did improve as the novel went on). I can say, I'm looking forward to the next book, if for nothing but it's redeeming qualities. And of course the fact again it's about Gargoyles and I can't resist.

How do you make such an amazing book and not have the rest for sale anywh8ere?? I want book 2 and 3. Please and thank you. I'm a contemporary romance reader but this book was amazing! I could write a book about the author's style, how she held my attention, the attention to detail, multiple POV for various characters and how she introduced stories that you just KNOW will be books 2 amd 3.
