Some authors on the other hand, are not willing to receive critical reviews of any kind, even those that are written in a straightforward, honest fashion but that include some strongly-dissatisfied language within them (something I have been falsely accused of complaining about). Anyone - and I do mean "anyone", who does not see that there literally are two extremes that exist within the author and reviewer arena, either are in purposeful denial or they simply aren't paying attention.

From the surface, it sounds very nice and like an event of spiritual peace among these two major denominations, that would be such a wonderful thing to see happen but is it even remotely realistic or achievable? Maybe the more important question would be this: Does God desire for such opposed religious practices to reach a point of saying "Every road leads to God.", when the Holy Scriptures do not at all endorse such a position?

This audiobook contains six of the best “Question and Answer” discussions that I have had with fellow thyroid myopathy and neuropathy patients over the years. The people who asked me these questions, came to know me through the many thyroid disease books and articles I have published since year 2005. They were also aware of the fact that I was diagnosed with peripheral neuropathy and myopathy, as a result of thyroid disease and nutritional deficiencies and that I have been receiving ongoing treatment for them.

In this audiobook, thyroid patient advocate and veteran health writer James M. Lowrance, answers important questions thyroid patients have in regard to their hypothyroid or hyperthyroid disorders. These are compiled from select replies he has given to questions posed on thyroid patient forums, between the years 2004 and 2009.

Over the years, I have observed the different trends that occur among people who are non-believers in God and also among those who are believers but who for some reason, have become angry with the God they have previously embraced. It has to do with tragedies they witness or experience in life. You can hear them making comments to the effect of: "How could God allow such tragedies and atrocities to occur in this world, when the Bible says he is a loving God?"

There are many diseases that affect thyroid function, including those that cause hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, thyroid swelling (goiter), tumors in the gland (nodules), thyroid eye disease and thyroid cancer. This book looks at these conditions of thyroid dysfunction in some detail and the diseases that cause them including thyroid autoimmunity.

Many thyroid disease patients become aware of the fact that they are at an increased risk for developing thyroid malignancy but they are unsure how much that risk increases following diagnosis of their thyroid condition. Within the chapters of this book, I offer information regarding these increased risk factors, backed by reputable medical information sources.

This book of eleven chapters, are my personal stories in regard to supernatural and miraculous events I have witnessed and experienced during my lifetime as a Christian and Youth Minister. While I write these from a Christian perspective, I hope anyone interested in these type things, will read these chapters with an open mind. I have deep respect for my faith and for things pertaining to God and it is my intention to relate these events in complete factualness.

Within the chapters of this book, I address the types of heart conditions or cardiac effects that thyroid diseases can have on those who experience them. I also discuss the treatments in general, that are administered to correct or to help control these potentially serious problems. It is my sincere hope that this resource helps to provide a worthy general educational resource for its listeners.

While this resource is not intended to replace diagnosis and treatment by medical professionals, it does provide a source of general information on these commonly experienced health disorders.

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) and Fibromyalgia (FMS) have 75% crossover symptom similarities, according to medical sources. These same sources, including the U.S. National Institutes of Health have found that both CFS and FMS patients present with cortisol levels (the major adrenal stress hormone) that are lower than that of the healthy population.

Within the chapters of this audiobook, I address this emotional symptom of an underactive thyroid gland, including descriptions of how it manifests and how hypothyroid patients can deal with it and have it treated successfully to regain an improved quality of life. It was not my intention to come across offensive in writing the chapters of this audiobook but to represent the creationist and biblical viewpoint in a straightforward fashion, in regard to its opposition to aspects of evolutionary theory. It is my sincere hope that listeners of this audiobook, from either side of the debate regarding Creationism versus the Theory of Evolution, will find inspiration to ponder the points I have offered within its chapters.

While it might seem unusual to see a book title on the subject of offering Christian encouragement to thyroid patients, it really shouldn't be considered unusual at all. Statistics by reputable polling organizations have shown that 75% of the U.S. population claims to be of the Christian faith and some medical estimates have revealed that over 30-million Americans are experiencing thyroid diseases.

Within the chapters, I present some of the biggest questions that remain unanswered by the proposed Theory of Evolution. It might be said by proponents of the theory that it is “ridiculous” to question it because science has yielded all of the answers that are needed, to bring substantiation for everything that exists having come from an unguided, non-purposed, undirected impersonal process called “evolution”.

Beginning in my teen years, I experienced intermittent panic attacks. Previous to this, I suffered prolonged episodes of free-floating anxiety (generalized worry and anxiousness). During my twenties, I found coping skills for my anxiety that were mostly self-taught, although I had seen mental health counselors for short periods of time in my late teens. These sessions were scheduled by my parents; during times I seemed to be lacking the ability to cope as I should, following major events, such as relocating to new schools.

Did you know that there are common thyroid disorders, a heart murmur, adrenal hormone imbalances and blood sugar (glucose) problems that can all potentially cause or contribute to anxiety and/or depression symptoms? It is important that patients seeing their doctors for emotional symptoms be tested for possible medical conditions that might be a causative or contributing factor, especially if physical symptoms in addition to emotional ones are being experienced.

On a particular popular social media reviews site, where reviewers are allowed to classify books in their shelving options under terms such as “d**k head literature”, comments toward this very book, included my being told to “castrate” myself, my being called “an a**hole” and being told to “die in a dark hole”. I am only citing scant-examples and these type comments are far more reaching in the negative and offensive directions than I can even begin to convey (Hence: “Unfairly Unfavorable”).
