How do we learn to know ourselves? What drives us, how do we develop, how does chance and our choices shape our lives? Writing this book, I’ve had to keep asking: What’s the best way to capture what I’ve learned and experienced? It’s been a challenge, one I’ve grown to cherish. My first book, Climbing Through Life, let me share the joy of cycling and climbing hills. This book is about a different kind of ride. Life never stops creating hills to climb. I can’t always see them coming and, often enough, I don’t know when they’ll crest.
