Michael is the Founder and Development Director of Smile Project Louisville, he wanted to be the reason someone smiles. He has been spreading love and influencing attitudes and behaviors thru random acts of kindness and smiles. It’s thru these acts of kindness and pictures that have made an impact and inspired others one smile at a time. He is showing that you can be so happy that when others see you they can be me happy too. This movement and/or initiative evolved from his relationship with his non-verbal daughter Maddie who has Down Syndrome. He has taken hundreds of photos with strangers and delivered countless smiles thru random acts of kindness in the community. He has been featured in multiple news stories on the local CBS affiliate WLKY and the ABC affiliate WHAS TV.

The turning point in this story is her redemption to not only get her life back but also continue to advocate and prevent attacks on others.
