• Trinitarian House Music | The Dance
    May 16 2025

    Text Michele

Have a Friday night Trinitarian dance party!

You were not created to stand outside the circle of divine love, watching from a distance. You were made to join the dance!

Baxter Kruger describes the Trinity not as a triangle of distant persons, but as a circle of shared life — Father, Son, and Spirit in eternal, joyful communion. This is perichoresis — a Greek word meaning mutual indwelling, often described as “a dance.” But here's the astonishing part: in Jesus, you’ve been swept into the circle and included in this dance!

The Son didn’t come merely to fix a legal problem. He came to bring us home. To share His relationship with the Father, in the Spirit. The Incarnation is not God changing His mind about you. It’s God revealing what was always in His heart: union.

You’re not trying to earn your way in. You're already included. As Kruger says, “You are not a spectator of Jesus’ relationship with the Father. You are included in it.”

This Christian life is not about working, earning, or striving for connection, but learning to relax into it. To hear the music of divine love. To feel the Spirit’s rhythm. To let the joy of the Trinity become your joy. To live, move, and have your being inside the dance.

What if the peace you’ve been chasing has been chasing you? This danceable house track kicks off with the line, “I searched for peace, but peace found me,” launching you into a musical journey from spiritual striving to divine inclusion. Set to fun beats and Trinitarian lyrics, this is more than a song. It’s a grace-fueled dance floor encounter with your true identity and the One who made you!

Drawing on Baxter Kruger’s teaching about perichoresis — the joyful dance of the Trinity — you’ll be reminded that you’re not trying to earn your way into God’s presence. You’ve been in the circle all along. No more performing, no more pretending. You’re not a guest. You’re home. He’s home in you. So turn it up and let the truth move your body.

    The Dance (lyrics):

I searched for peace, but peace found me.

I tried to strive, turns out grace was free.

No striving here, no need to chase.

Just fall into the arms of grace.

No more masks, no more disguise.

I’ve found love in Jesus’ eyes.

    I’m not a guest. I’m not alone.

I am the place He made His home.

    No more trying to belong.

I’ve been in the dance all along. (Ohhh.)

  • Returning Home to Your True Self | The Essential Grace Series, Pt. 4
    May 16 2025

    Text Michele

Tired of pretending to be who others expect you to be? That exhaustion isn’t just emotional — it’s neurological. Your brain literally burns out trying to manage a false self. But here’s the good news: your true self — the one God dreamed up before the foundation of the world — isn’t something you have to earn or achieve. It’s already in you, waiting to be remembered and rediscovered.

In this episode, we’re fusing neuroscience with soul-deep truth. Discover how authenticity lights up your brain’s default mode network, reduces stress, and strengthens emotional bonds. When you live from your true self, you’re not just happier, you’re healthier! No more performing. No more people-pleasing. Just grace, identity, and a return home to the real you: God’s beloved. Let’s go there together.

    Today’s Reflection Questions:

    • When do you feel most like yourself?
    • What spaces let you exhale and stop performing?
    • What relationships or friendships or rhythms bring you back to center?
    • Where do you feel safe enough to be honest, unedited, and fully present?

Need some help basking in your beloved-ness? Listen to the very first episode of this podcast, called You Are His Beloved.

  • Meditative Spoken Word | Guard Your Heart | The Essential Grace Series, Pt. 3
    May 15 2025

    Text Michele

Throw on some headphones, take a breath, close your eyes, and enjoy today’s meditative spoken word track based on Proverbs 4:23, which says, “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.”

    Lyrics:

Above all else guard your heart.

Not with walls of fear, but with boundaries of grace.

Your heart is holy ground. A garden. A wellspring.

The place where heaven whispers and your life responds.

Everything you do flows from here — your energy, your empathy, your yes, your creativity, your capacity to love.

So tend it. Protect the soil of your soul. Pull the weeds of pressure. Cut back the vines of comparison. Let only what nourishes remain.

    Boundaries aren’t barriers. They’re blessings.

They are the sacred lines where peace is preserved and purpose takes root.

You don’t need to say yes to everything. You were never meant to.

You were created to flow — not to flood, not to dry out, but to flow — steadily, gracefully, from the deep place where God dwells in you.

Guard your flow. Guard your rhythm. Guard your heart.

    Because from it… life flows.

  • Your Sacred Non-Negotiables | The Essential Grace Series, Pt. 2
    May 14 2025

    Text Michele

What if saying “yes” to everything is actually costing you what matters most? In today’s episode, we’re talking about sacred non-negotiables — those holy, grounding rhythms that anchor your soul when life tries to uproot you. From morning silence to family dinners, these aren’t just fun ideas. They are prophetic boundaries protecting the life you were made for.

With Matthew 6:33 as our compass (“Seek first the kingdom…”), we’ll dismantle the belief that we can have competing priorities and reclaim the wisdom of guarding your heart like the life-giving well it’s meant to be. This isn’t about building walls — it’s about saying “yes” time and time again to what restores you and points you in the right direction.

Ready to name what’s non-negotiable in your life? Let’s dive in!

    Today’s Reflection Questions:

Think back to a time when life felt really grounded, spacious, Spirit-led.

    • What was present in that season?
    • Were there rhythms in your life that restored you?
    • Were there boundaries in place that helped you?
    • Was there an absence of distractions in that season?

  • Finding Your Sacred Rhythms | The Rule of Life Series, Pt. 6
    May 9 2025

    Text Michele

Forget rigid religious routines and spiritual guilt trips! This episode is your permission slip to ditch the pressure and rediscover spiritual growth as a rhythm of grace. Michele Kus flips the script on spiritual disciplines, showing how a Rule of Life isn’t a religious blueprint or straitjacket but a Spirit-led canvas where grace gets to breathe, change, and grow with you.

Drawing from her own journey (including the evolution of this podcast!), Michele invites you to reimagine spiritual practices as flexible, life-giving rhythms that ebb and flow with your real life — not some idealized version of it. If you’ve ever felt stuck, tired, burned out, or boxed in by your spiritual “shoulds,” this episode is for you. Tune in, take a breath, and let grace lead.

    Today’s Reflection Questions:

    • Am I holding my Rule of Life like a blueprint to control or a rhythm to enjoy?
    • What’s one part of my current rhythm that feels a little too rigid — and might need space to breathe a little more?

  • Spoken Word Meditation | The Trellis for Your Soul | The Rule of Life Series, Pt. 5
    May 5 2025

    Text Michele

When you hear the phrase “Rule of Life,” what do you imagine? Do you picture Mom’s chore chart or a dusty old monastic manual? Think again. In today’s spoken-word episode, we’re flipping the script on what you might think of as a Rule of Life. Rooted in the Latin word regula — meaning trellis — a Rule of Life is less about restriction or checkboxes and more about support for optimal growth. It’s a grace-filled framework that helps your soul, like a plant, grow in the direction it naturally longs to go. Think of it as spiritual essentialism: creating sacred space for what matters most … while gently pruning the rest like a good gardener.

Drawing inspiration from St. Benedict’s 6th century rhythm of prayer, work, and rest, we explore how a Rule of Life brings both focus and freedom. This isn’t about hustle. It’s about crafting rhythms that align with your identity and purpose in Christ. What holy habits help you flourish? What might you gently release? If you’ve been overwhelmed by your own (or others’) spiritual expectations, this meditative, spoken-word episode reaches into your spirit and invites you to trade obligation for intimacy.

    Reflection Questions:

    • What’s one holy habit I want to reclaim or lean into this week?
    • What’s one thing I need to let go of — not because it’s “bad,” but because it’s not helping me become who I truly am?

  • Creating Sacred Space | The Rule of Life Series, Pt. 4
    Apr 30 2025

    Text Michele

Sacred space isn’t found — it’s made. In today’s hustle culture, that’s a quiet act of rebellion. This micro-episode flips the script on spiritual growth by exposing two popular myths: that time automatically matures us, and that being around truth is the same as being transformed by it. Formation doesn’t happen by osmosis; it happens through intentional, grace-filled participation.

What would happen if you made sacred space? We’re talking holy moments in ordinary places — your car, your kitchen, your evening walk. You don’t need candles or Gregorian chants (unless you’re into that). Just a pause. A breath. A simple, sacred “yes” to God’s presence. Tune out the noise long enough to hear the frequency of grace that’s been playing all along. What might shift if you made room this week?

Listen to Make Room (original version) or Make Room (new, groovy version)!

    Today’s Reflection Questions:

    • Where can I carve out sacred space in my week — even if just for a few minutes?
    • How can I turn an ordinary place into a sacred space, simply by becoming fully present with God?
