About this listen

Text Michele

Have a Friday night Trinitarian dance party!

You were not created to stand outside the circle of divine love, watching from a distance. You were made to join the dance!

Baxter Kruger describes the Trinity not as a triangle of distant persons, but as a circle of shared life — Father, Son, and Spirit in eternal, joyful communion. This is perichoresis — a Greek word meaning mutual indwelling, often described as “a dance.” But here's the astonishing part: in Jesus, you’ve been swept into the circle and included in this dance!

The Son didn’t come merely to fix a legal problem. He came to bring us home. To share His relationship with the Father, in the Spirit. The Incarnation is not God changing His mind about you. It’s God revealing what was always in His heart: union.

You’re not trying to earn your way in. You're already included. As Kruger says, “You are not a spectator of Jesus’ relationship with the Father. You are included in it.”

This Christian life is not about working, earning, or striving for connection, but learning to relax into it. To hear the music of divine love. To feel the Spirit’s rhythm. To let the joy of the Trinity become your joy. To live, move, and have your being inside the dance.

What if the peace you’ve been chasing has been chasing you? This danceable house track kicks off with the line, “I searched for peace, but peace found me,” launching you into a musical journey from spiritual striving to divine inclusion. Set to fun beats and Trinitarian lyrics, this is more than a song. It’s a grace-fueled dance floor encounter with your true identity and the One who made you!

Drawing on Baxter Kruger’s teaching about perichoresis — the joyful dance of the Trinity — you’ll be reminded that you’re not trying to earn your way into God’s presence. You’ve been in the circle all along. No more performing, no more pretending. You’re not a guest. You’re home. He’s home in you. So turn it up and let the truth move your body.

The Dance (lyrics):

I searched for peace, but peace found me.

I tried to strive, turns out grace was free.

No striving here, no need to chase.

Just fall into the arms of grace.

No more masks, no more disguise.

I’ve found love in Jesus’ eyes.

I’m not a guest. I’m not alone.

I am the place He made His home.

No more trying to belong.

I’ve been in the dance all along. (Ohhh.)
