  • 016 Mistakes I've Made in My Business
    Mar 31 2022

In my podcast episodes, I have been celebrating our successes and talking about how we've hit great numbers and how we've been scaling. But something I don't think I've been talking about enough, is the behind the scenes of my business and the mistakes that we have made. Today, I'm going to tell you some of my most memorable mistakes that I've made in business, and what you can learn from them.

    What You’ll Learn:

    - Why you need to think about what’s going on in your life before planning any launches

    - How trying to do too many projects in one go impacts your business, your energy and your team

    - How multiple launches can be a trap for your business

Nearly three years after starting this business, we've hit seven figures, we hit 100k months, but we still make mistakes and I'm sure we will make more of them along the way. But the biggest thing is to learn from the mistakes that you make, and look at how you can keep improving everything you're doing to prevent those mistakes happening again.

  • 015 Being a Mum and Scaling
    Mar 16 2022

Today, I'll answer a question I get asked a lot: what is it like to scale a business while being a full-time mom? The day I found out I was pregnant, I realised my working routine wouldn't allow me to be a present mother, and as going back to corporate wasn't an option, I knew I had to make some drastic changes. In this episode, I'll take you through the process of how I created space for business growth without taking a second from quality time with my little man.

What You Will Learn In This Episode:

    - One-on-one client sessions are not indispensable to grow and scale a business

    - Sales calls are not the only way to sell

    - The importance of hiring talent to free our time and multiply our online presence

    - How to create time by batching content and planning strategies months ahead

    - The multiple benefits of making time to take care of ourselves

    - Why it is not a good idea to get back to work immediately after giving birth

    - How to be compassionate with ourselves and remove the guilt from taking days off to take care of our little ones

Being a mom is a full-time job and it is a lot harder than running a business. So if you can raise a child, you can definitely run a successful business. You need to focus on being organised, build a team that you can rely on, and most importantly, create the time and invest in your self-care.

  • 014 Why Launches Fail
    Mar 9 2022

Let's talk about failed launches. At some point in our business we’ve all had a failed launch with our courses and programs. I've had them, too, I even wanted to give up my business at one point. Luckily, I didn’t. Instead I learned valuable lessons from those experiences, and today I'm going to take you through some of the biggest reasons why launches fail.

    What You’ll Learn:

    - Three key phases of a launch and why they must be strategically planned

    - How to build authority during the pre-launch phase

    - The most common launch pitfall in the cart open phase

    - Why many entrepreneurs tend to forget about post-launch activities

    - The importance of evaluating every launch you make

I shared with you the three main reasons why launches fail, so you can make sure you're not making these mistakes. As you begin to rectify these, you are going to see better results in your launches. But just a reminder, if you have had a failed launch, don't give up. Evaluate, learn from it and improve.
