• 016 Mistakes I've Made in My Business
    Mar 31 2022

In my podcast episodes, I have been celebrating our successes and talking about how we've hit great numbers and how we've been scaling. But something I don't think I've been talking about enough, is the behind the scenes of my business and the mistakes that we have made. Today, I'm going to tell you some of my most memorable mistakes that I've made in business, and what you can learn from them.

    What You’ll Learn:

    - Why you need to think about what’s going on in your life before planning any launches

    - How trying to do too many projects in one go impacts your business, your energy and your team

    - How multiple launches can be a trap for your business

Nearly three years after starting this business, we've hit seven figures, we hit 100k months, but we still make mistakes and I'm sure we will make more of them along the way. But the biggest thing is to learn from the mistakes that you make, and look at how you can keep improving everything you're doing to prevent those mistakes happening again.

  • 015 Being a Mum and Scaling
    Mar 16 2022

Today, I'll answer a question I get asked a lot: what is it like to scale a business while being a full-time mom? The day I found out I was pregnant, I realised my working routine wouldn't allow me to be a present mother, and as going back to corporate wasn't an option, I knew I had to make some drastic changes. In this episode, I'll take you through the process of how I created space for business growth without taking a second from quality time with my little man.

What You Will Learn In This Episode:

    - One-on-one client sessions are not indispensable to grow and scale a business

    - Sales calls are not the only way to sell

    - The importance of hiring talent to free our time and multiply our online presence

    - How to create time by batching content and planning strategies months ahead

    - The multiple benefits of making time to take care of ourselves

    - Why it is not a good idea to get back to work immediately after giving birth

    - How to be compassionate with ourselves and remove the guilt from taking days off to take care of our little ones

Being a mom is a full-time job and it is a lot harder than running a business. So if you can raise a child, you can definitely run a successful business. You need to focus on being organised, build a team that you can rely on, and most importantly, create the time and invest in your self-care.

  • 014 Why Launches Fail
    Mar 9 2022

Let's talk about failed launches. At some point in our business we’ve all had a failed launch with our courses and programs. I've had them, too, I even wanted to give up my business at one point. Luckily, I didn’t. Instead I learned valuable lessons from those experiences, and today I'm going to take you through some of the biggest reasons why launches fail.

    What You’ll Learn:

    - Three key phases of a launch and why they must be strategically planned

    - How to build authority during the pre-launch phase

    - The most common launch pitfall in the cart open phase

    - Why many entrepreneurs tend to forget about post-launch activities

    - The importance of evaluating every launch you make

I shared with you the three main reasons why launches fail, so you can make sure you're not making these mistakes. As you begin to rectify these, you are going to see better results in your launches. But just a reminder, if you have had a failed launch, don't give up. Evaluate, learn from it and improve.

  • 013 How to Stop Treating Your Business like a Hobby
    Mar 2 2022

In this week’s episode, I will share with you three top tips to stop treating your business like a hobby and start treating it like a business. For many years, I've been getting in and out of corporate. I've started several businesses that never came to fruition, and I was sent right back to the nine-to-five world. However, the moment I started treating my entrepreneurial endeavours as a business, things changed completely.

My invitation for you today is to start implementing these three simple tips in your business to experience massive growth in no time.

What You Will Learn In This Episode:

    - Separating our personal finances from our business finances is crucial to verify its growth and evolution

    - Why we shouldn't be afraid of investing in our business as it grows

    - Planning content, offers, and launches ahead promote consistency, which is key to scaling

    - Why investing in our team is the best kind of investment

    - What we should have in mind when hiring our team members

Part of treating our business as a business is to stop being involved in every action and decision. We must bring a CEO approach to it, using our time where we are more efficient and capable of generating more cash flow. This is why hiring the right people is critical, as it will free time in our schedule, liberating us from the things we enjoy less doing, so we can focus on the growth of our business.

  • 012 How to Map Out Your Six Figure Year
    Feb 23 2022

Today, I'm going to take you through how to map out your six figure year. This is something that I regularly do with my clients, so they know exactly what they need to do in order to hit their goal.

We will talk about goal setting for the year, for the quarters and for each month, we will look at our offers, our pricing and choosing the right strategies to implement. By the end of today's episode, you should know exactly what you need to do in order to hit your six, or even multiple six figure year.

What You Will Learn in This Episode:

    - The difference between the business financial goals and personal financial goals

    - How to break down your goals month by month

    - Deciding on a single vs. multiple offers and the price points

    - What makes your offer a no brainer for your ideal client

    - How the size of your audience impacts your sales strategy

So when you're going to map out your six figure year, make sure you're setting the yearly goal and breaking it down into quarters and months. You need to look at what you're going to sell, at what price, to how many people, and make it a no brainer offer for your ideal clients. You then need to choose the right strategy to attract and convert your ideal clients. When you implement all these steps, you’ll have everything you need to hit your six figure year.
