This week’s episode has a different vibe. I’m sharing a short story I published last year, The Big Blue Boat. It follows Billy and his Grandad on a trip to the lake, offering a gentle reminder about resilience, emotions, and the calm that comes from seeing their passing nature.

Join me for this story-time episode, and let’s discover together how even the smallest adventures can remind us of deeper truths.

  • Episode 18: An Inside Job : The Thought Trap
    Aug 13 2025

Fear can look like it’s coming from the flight, the spider, the stage, or whatever your “thing” is. But when you look closer, it’s always the same pattern: a feeling in the body with a hitchhiker story attached. In this episode, we PEEP (Play, Explore, Experiment, Play) beneath the noise and see how fear is generated from the inside out — and how, once you see that, it gets a whole lot less convincing.

  • Episode 17 - Untrapping Fear with Jess Smith : The Thought Trap
    Aug 6 2025

In this episode, I’m joined by fellow Certified Change Coach Jess Smith for an honest, gentle exploration of fear — what it is, what it isn’t, and why it often feels so convincing. We talk about the sneaky ways fear shows up, how it can trap us in overthinking or hesitation, and how simply seeing it for what it is can shift everything. This isn’t about fighting fear or fixing it. It’s about getting curious, loosening its grip, and reconnecting with the deeper intelligence underneath it all. Because when we understand our amazing human system — how it’s always working for us, not against us — fear starts to lose its power. And we remember: we’re built for clarity, resilience, and insight. If fear has been running the show (or even just whispering in the background), this one’s for you.

  • Episode 16- Trap Talk : Feeling Behind
    Jul 30 2025

Ever find yourself thinking, “I should be further along by now”? Like you missed some invisible deadline and now you’re stuck in the wrong chapter? In this episode of Trap Talk, we unpack the sneaky mind chatter that you’re "behind" in life — and why that feeling is more about conditioning than truth. This isn’t about fixing the thought or powering through it. It’s about softening into what’s actually happening — in your body, in this moment, in your beautifully un-linear life. Because there’s no rulebook. No race. No box ticking. Just you, living — and that is always enough.

Fancy a book club? - My teacher, Dr. Amy Johnson, will be leading a group of people through the book, “What is Wrong with Right Now?: If you don’t think about it” by Sailor Bob Anderson. Sailor Bob Adamson studied with Nisargadatta in the 1970s. He went on to spend the next 40+ years sharing those teachings until he passed away just a few months ago. The book is a collection of short teachings and dialogues between Sailor Bob and his students. The dialogues contain simple, profound pointers to our real nature. The 2025 Summer Book Club starts July 28th and will run for 8 weeks. They will meet weekly and also have an online forum that’s open 24/7. I will be offering a full hours coaching complimentary if you join the book club this summer.
