We thank all our guests for being so open and sharing insights into their life, work, passion and perspectives and we thank you listener for opening your minds to their conversations. Sexworkers stories are myriad and their experiences diverse and deserve to be heard on their own terms instead of being filtered and framed solely through third parties, media and journalists who often problematize, sensationalize of victimize through their own preconceived notions on sexwork, prostitution and human trafficking. Sexwork is real work and we believe it needs to be treated as such.

In this special extra episode Indie asked all the guests of season about their thoughts on the Law Regulation Sexwork, de WRS in Dutch. This law is being proposed by the current Dutch government to decriminalize sexwork. Since the upcoming law will be affecting all sexworkers in their work we wanted to know our guests' thoughts on the law and the specifics covered in it. 

Also in podcast Under My Red Umbrella, Sexworker and jurist Niki talks to legal expert Rodney Haan from the CCV (Centre for criminality prevention and security). In this episode Indie talks to social worker of P&G292 Heleen. Heleen has been a social worker to many a sexworker in the red light district for over 25 years and before has worked with sexworkers in the Amsterdam Tippelzone. She also is part of the confidential team and helps sexworkers in the more complex and difficult cases. 

We talk with Heleen about how she tries to help sexworkers without taking away their agency and choice, how sexworkers sometimes have difficulty dealing with the stigma of being constantly considered a victim and shares one particularly harrowing experience of sexworkers in the Red Light District involving the police. 

In this episode Indie talks to Kinky Hopelezz. Kinky has done sexwork for more than 30 years and his work runs the gamut: from one on one's, fisting and group sessions to sexshows and massages.
