• Brigadier General / High School Bud / Joe Reale / Leading from the Heart
    May 19 2025

A week filled with reflection, appreciation, and gratitude. After 40 years, I had the absolute pleasure to sit down with an old high school buddy, United States Army Brigadier General, Joe Reale. Joe and I talked about the good old days, friendship, and the impact we have had on others during this journey called life. We discussed his humble beginnings a private in the "Old Guard", to his leadership during the refugee mission in Kandahar as a Brigadier General, and everything in between. Joe allowed himself to be vulnerable, sharing with me that for the entirety of his time in the military his focus was on taking care of others, and unfortunately he did that that the expense of taking care of himself. Sit back, and give this episode a listen. 40 years have gone by in the blink of an eye, oh what a ride it's been.

  • Angela Graham / Former Firefighter / Founder of The S.I.R.E.N. Project / Helping First Responders Heal Through the Use of Psychedelic Medicines
    Apr 21 2025

Wow, this week I had the privilege of sitting down with former firefighter and founder of the S.I.R.E.N. Project , Angela Graham. The S.I.R.E.N Project is an initiative that looks to help first responders and veterans heal from past trauma through the use of psychedelic medicines. We dove deep into everything that this modality is, and just as important, everything that it is not. I learned soo much from my brief time with Angela. My biggest takeaway, there is always something you can do to better your situation, always. The one caveat to this, it's got to be YOU that takes action and is intentional on how you want to live your life! Grab a pen and paper, sit back, reflect, take notes, and if you or someone you love is struggling, share this episode with them and put them in touch with Angela, or don't , the choice is yours.

  • Ret. Sgt John Mattingly / 12 Seconds In The Dark, A Police Officer's Firsthand Account of the Breonna Taylor Raid
    Mar 24 2025

This week John Mattingly and I sit down to discuss "12 Seconds In The Dark", A Police Officers Firsthand Account of the Breonna Taylor Raid. I started off the interview apologizing to John for doing what I think a lot of us do when it comes to incidents that are reported in the media, we believe what we are told. At every turn mainstream media has failed to report the truth and have conveniently replaced it with whatever version supports the us vs them , defund, movement. They run with lies because agency leadership allows them to do so. When lies aren't challenged with the truth, when repeated enough, those lies become facts in the eyes of the public. John Mattingly, his brothers on that warrant, his family in the aftermath have been betrayed. If you don't think I can happen to you, give this podcast a listen, reflect, and commit to being better in all that you do. Thank you John Mattingly, for your courage and commitment to the truth as unpopular as it may be, God Bless.

  • Nick Lavery / Green Beret / Author of Objective Secure / Awesome Human Being
    Mar 10 2025

This week I was honored to sit down with Nick Lavery. Nick was so gracious with his time, the most humblest of men, he and I had a conversation you absolutely don't want to miss. We didn't get into the events of 2013 that shaped his life. We instead focused on his "why", and the lessons he has learned from a lifetime of never quitting. Come away a better version of yourself for listening to this amazing human being. Even with my limited interaction with Nick, he's inspired me to be a better version of John. Until next week, take care of yourself and each other, God Bless, John

Nick, born and raised in Massachusetts, is an active-duty member of The United States Army Special Forces. Commonly known as the Green Berets, the Special Forces perform critical missions including direct action, counterinsurgency, foreign internal defense, special reconnaissance, and unconventional warfare.

Nick is considered the first Special Forces operator to return to combat as an above-the-knee amputee.

Nick is currently serving as a Special Forces Warrant Officer and is widely recognized as an experienced subject matter expert in special operations, intelligence fusion, mission planning and complex problem solving across all operational continuums. He is also the first amputee in military history to complete the Special Forces Warrant Officer Technical and Tactical Certification course, the Special Operations Combatives Program Instructor course, and the Special Forces Combat Diver Qualification course.

Nick’s awards include the Silver Star, three Purple Hearts, two Bronze Stars, Bronze Star with “V” for valor, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, two Meritorious Service Medals, Joint Service Commendation Medal, Joint Service Achievement Medal, two Army Commendation Medals, Army Achievement Medal, the OSS Society Peter Ortiz Award, the Bruce Price Leadership Award, and the Special Operations Command Excalibur Award.

  • Jimmy Ward / Navigating the Storm / Its Different When You're In It
    Feb 24 2025

This week I sit down with Jimmy Ward. Jimmy is a great guy, current LEO, who's in the middle of it, the storm that is. Jimmy and I discuss accountability, finding courage when the phone doesn't ring, and knowing who you are when the things that you've built your life around start to vanish. Most importantly Jimmy shares with us how he is navigating through the storm. I'm proud of him for sharing and his willingness to embrace the power of hope. The understanding that hope is created by taking action, and taking action creates hope. Simple but often overlooked, especially when you're in the storm. Sit back, reflect and walk away a better version of you for doing so. Thank you Jimmy for being you.
