• Stop Guessing Your Audience, Identify Them To Be Real Leads
    Dec 10 2025

If you’re trying to grow a business with your podcast, vanity metrics aren’t gonna cut it. You need to know who’s paying attention and why.

Here’s how you figure that out:
Watch what people do. Look at your LinkedIn feed. Who’s liking your clips? Who’s DMing you about that episode you dropped last week? Who’s showing up to calls already quoting your show?

That’s your audience. And you need to write their names down.

Even a simple spreadsheet will do. Just start labeling who’s engaged. Then get smarter. Drop a lead magnet in your next newsletter. Use booking links with tracking. Ask simple qualifying questions in your intake forms.

And when you get a response? Loop that back into your next post, next episode, next pitch.

  • Stop Paying for Pretty Podcasts That Don’t Sell
    Nov 19 2025

You hired a podcast editor. Maybe even a full production team. Your show sounds amazing. The visuals are slick. Everything looks right... except for one thing:

    Nobody’s listening.
    Nobody’s buying.
    And your ROI is trash.

In this episode of It’s Not Just Talking, I break down the #1 trap that kills branded podcasts, pouring money into production with no strategy to back it up. Because great editing doesn’t grow your business. A smart, aligned podcast strategy does.

    We’ll cover:

The real reason most branded shows flop

Why hiring a podcast editor might be a waste of money

What to actually invest in if you want a podcast that gets clients

This is for any business owner tired of throwing money at a show that’s not delivering. You don’t need “better production.” You need a plan that ties directly into your offer.

This is how you go from “content for content’s sake” to real podcast marketing strategy.
