Homeschooling? You’re already doing it! 💡 In this episode of the Homeschool Yo Kids Podcast, Jae dives into a heartfelt and inspiring conversation with Morgan, founder of Base CampED, a groundbreaking community-building app for homeschoolers and beyond. They explore the power of finding your tribe, creative ways to simplify your homeschool journey, and reimagining what learning looks like for modern families. Morgan shares her personal homeschooling story, including balancing work, raising three young boys, and creating an innovative platform that connects families, educators, and resources nationwide.

Discover how Base CampED is empowering students and families to create a flexible learning environment, build a supportive homeschool community, and embrace a growth mindset for student success. This episode is packed with practical insights, motivational stories, and expert advice for anyone considering homeschooling or looking to enhance their homeschool experience.

    https://www.basecamped.com/

Morgan is a mom of 3 young boys, a wife, and the founder of a new community building app called BaseCampEd. Prior to starting BaseCampEd, Morgan spent over a decade working as a corporate recruiter, learning firsthand the challenges that come with balancing a career and family. Making matters even more complex, her family moves every 2-3 years due to her husband’s job. This made building a community all the more difficult.

As her oldest son was approaching Kindergarten, her interest in homeschooling started to grow. She wanted to take control of her children's education while also being able to support her family. This led to the idea of BaseCampEd. She thought, if there was a way to connect with local parents to create family co-ops to share some of the duties and also to explore educational resources all in one place, it could make homeschooling that much more accessible.

This amazing platform launched in February 2025 and she is so excited for the future of this community.
