    In this episode of Healing Beyond Health Anxiety, I’m guiding you through a gentle meditation designed specifically for health anxiety.

    If meditation has ever felt intimidating, frustrating, or like something you’re “bad at,” I want you to know this straight away ... this isn’t about emptying your mind or doing anything perfectly. It’s about calming your nervous system and beginning to build a different relationship with anxiety, one rooted in safety rather than fear.

    I’ll guide you through simple breathing, body awareness, and self-compassion practices to help your system soften and settle. Not to make symptoms disappear, but to help you feel safer in your body, even when sensations or anxious thoughts are present.

    I’ll also remind you of something I know is hard to believe when anxiety is loud.... you are not your symptoms, and you are not your thoughts. They’re experiences you’re having, not definitions of who you are.

    Healing from health anxiety doesn’t come from fighting fear or trying to get rid of it. It comes from learning how to make space for it without letting it run your life. That’s what this meditation is here to support.

  • A Calmer Christmas: Managing Health Anxiety During the Holidays

    In this episode of Healing Beyond Health Anxiety, I’m diving into something that feels especially loud this time of year ... the pressure of Christmas when you live with health anxiety.

    I open up about the years I genuinely lost to fear at Christmas… those days where I was physically there but mentally trapped in symptoms, what-ifs, and body checking. If you’ve ever felt that knot in your stomach on a day that’s “supposed” to be magical, you are absolutely not alone.

    I talk through the unique challenges the holidays bring ... the overwhelm, the expectation for everything to be perfect, and yes… the elephant in the room: doctors’ surgeries running on reduced hours, which can crank health anxiety up to a whole new level.

    I also share the things that helped me get out of that cycle and start taking my Christmases back: grounding, breathwork, nervous system regulation, and releasing the pressure to “get it right.” It’s about finding those tiny pockets of presence instead of trying to force yourself to feel festive.

    You’ll also hear some gorgeous client wins that show what’s possible when you start trusting your body and gently shifting your focus back into the moment.
