how our taste helped shape the world

Adam on how the need to satisfy our taste buds help drive various food trends. A food driven history of the world. Master Chef fav looking at how our need to satisfy our sweet, salty, sour favours shape food and world history.

Very interesting l, poor sound design

The stories and mix of history and science were great and appropriate for a teen audience. The thing that frustrated me was the sound design, there was every sound effect under the sun thrown in which distracted from the a) serious discussion and b) the overall story telling.

Insightful and funny

There was so much to digest. The history. The stories. How it all relates to the world we live in. I love the considerations for the food future and it’s origins from yesteryear. As a self confessed food lover it was a must listen to and I finished it far too quickly. May I have seconds please?

Going for the taste!

This podcast has sparked a real interest in me again in ingredients for taste, rather than just following a recipe.
