This is the last episode of Dorks on Sports. Our Dorks are disappointed to the Seahawks loss to the 49ers in the Wildcard round of the playoffs but they all unanimously agree that the future looks bright. They talk about some of their favorite moments of Wildcard Weekend and predict which teams will make it to the Super Bowl. They give some love to the Kraken who became the first team in NHL history to sweep a 7 game road trip. They dork out for the last time on the pod and thank their 12s of listeners for a great ride. Everything is beautiful now that the Seahawks made it to the post season (with a little help from the Detroit Lions). Our Dorks chat about the team, what they might do in the draft, if they'll sign Geno Smith. They breakdown how the game might go in San Francisco on Saturday and give their predictions. Our Dorks spend a lot of time talking about Damar Hamlin and the scary injury he suffered on Monday Night Football. They give an update on his progress, talk about how the fans have rallied around him and what that means for the sport. They move on to the Seahawks and talk briefly about the blowout win vs. the Jets and whether that is an indication of progress. They discuss the Seahawks chances of getting into the playoffs knowing that they need the Lions to beat the Packers in Green Bay which sends our Dorks down a conspiracy rabbit hole. Daniel dorks out about the God of War video game, Millie just watch season 3 of Jack Ryan, Allanah has some things to say about The Fabelman's, and Curtis just finished the latest season of Barry. Our Dorks talk briefly about the Seahawks loss to the Chiefs and try to divine what that might mean going into next season then quickly give their predictions for how the home game against the Jets will go. Most of the program is devoted to their favorite dorking moments of 2022. Daniel and Curtis share their favorite Seattle sports moments of 2022. Then Allanah and Millie share their top ten tv shows of the year while all four have a lot of fun dorking out about it all. GO HAWKS!

After a loss to division rival San Francisco 49ers, our dorks discuss what they'd like for the Hawks in the next 3 games and predict whether they'll make the postseason or not. They take some schadenfreude delight in the Patriots blunder in the final seconds of their game and the historic collapse by the Colts in theirs. The Dorks then predict the outcome of the Thursday night game vs the 49ers. Daniel gives props to the Kraken for winning their game against the Panthers and discusses what he thinks the x-factor on this team could be. They then move on to the early offseason moves the Mariners have made and as the fans to simmer down and be patient. Daniel dorks out on Raphael Warnock's Senate win against challenger Herschel Walker in the Georgia Senate runoff election, Curtis has been watching the western "The English" on Amazon Prime, and Allanah has been dorking out on meal planning a multi-course meal for her New Year's Eve party. The Dorks are perplexed by the Seahawks regression and their embarrassing loss to the Las Vegas Raiders. Curtis breaks down his thoughts on their defensive deficiencies. They try to predict how Sunday's game will go against the Rams in LA. Daniel is thrilled that the Kraken have been finding ways to win and have established themselves as a top 5 team in the NHL. Our Dorks debate on whether Penix Jr. should declare for the NFL draft or give it another season at UW.
