This is the last episode of Dorks on Sports. Our Dorks are disappointed to the Seahawks loss to the 49ers in the Wildcard round of the playoffs but they all unanimously agree that the future looks bright. They talk about some of their favorite moments of Wildcard Weekend and predict which teams will make it to the Super Bowl. They give some love to the Kraken who became the first team in NHL history to sweep a 7 game road trip. They dork out for the last time on the pod and thank their 12s of listeners for a great ride. Everything is beautiful now that the Seahawks made it to the post season (with a little help from the Detroit Lions). Our Dorks chat about the team, what they might do in the draft, if they'll sign Geno Smith. They breakdown how the game might go in San Francisco on Saturday and give their predictions. Our Dorks spend a lot of time talking about Damar Hamlin and the scary injury he suffered on Monday Night Football. They give an update on his progress, talk about how the fans have rallied around him and what that means for the sport. They move on to the Seahawks and talk briefly about the blowout win vs. the Jets and whether that is an indication of progress. They discuss the Seahawks chances of getting into the playoffs knowing that they need the Lions to beat the Packers in Green Bay which sends our Dorks down a conspiracy rabbit hole.
