Patricia Kolesa MS, RDN is a registered dietitian based out of New Jersey. She started her dietetics degree by getting her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics at Rutgers University where she double minored in Biology and Psychology. From there, she went on to complete her internship and master’s degree to become a dietitian at Wellness Workdays where she had an emphasis in Sports Nutrition and Entrepreneurship. Since becoming an RD, Patricia has had the opportunity to work with multiple populations most notably, the United States Rowing Team, weight loss surgery, diabetes, weight management, cardiovascular disease, renal disease and most recently, geriatrics. When Patricia isn't working at her full-time job, she is increasing her social media presence. Patricia hopes to reach larger audiences of working women like herself using an anti-diet, individualized approach in nutrition and fitness. Her mission is to help others become more curious and excited about food and find exercises that they enjoy so they can achieve overall health without the added stresses of weight loss and dieting How will the audience benefit from you as a guest regarding as health & wellness, nutrition, diet, weight-loss, or fitness expert or author? What can you share with the audience? I feel that my experiences working in the health and wellness space will assure the audience that nutrition and exercise doesn't have to look like what they might typically see on social media (ie. 5am morning routine, 2 hours of working out, abs, clean eating, etc). I want to assure others that health looks different on everyone, and nutrition isn't black and white with ongoing emerging research. I want to help others understand that the smallest changes make the biggest impact and that dietitians are some of the most important experts in the health and wellness industry today.
