  • Have you ever heard the term "racial battle fatigue?" You may be familiar with the strong black woman trope.

    While mental illness does not discriminate, let's not pretend that the intersectionality of one's identities (socioeconomic status, age, race, sexual orientation) should not be considered in the discussion about mental health and mental illness.

    Listen as Loriann addresses some of the issues that are relevant to the discussion. This is the first of several episodes that will be dedicated to mental health and mental illness.
