    I'm Molly Jay, a full time Coloured Pencil Artist and I'm now in my 5th year being self-employed. Being a serial voice-noter day to day and listening to other podcasts helps me massively and I’d love to put my 20p into the world of podcasting as well! I’ll be sharing the behind the scenes of being a self-employed Artist, including the everyday struggles, creative processes and the highs, in the hope it’ll help other Artists’ relate and feel less alone! 🎙✨ Grab your pencil, paint brush, or whatever medium you're working in and join me for an informal chat about Art, life WIPs and everything else behind the pencil.

    For this first episode I thought I'd share my honest experiences so far as an Artist so you can get to know me a bit more, I talk about battling lack of direction growing up through school, University rejection, how I went self employed and now celebrating 5 years as a full-time Coloured Pencil Artist. Going forward I’ll be sharing allllll the behind the scenes of being self-employed, including the everyday struggles, creative processes and the highs and lows in the hope it’ll help other Artists’ relate and feel less alone!
